I will always love how Clutch City Rockets were always having each other's back. We will always have their backs too.
Dream/Shaq, Duncan/Malone, Kobe/Drexler are all close enough, but I think Magic/Nash would be where California has a huge advantage. And I'm probably leaving key people out.
Obviously he's #1. I don't like that he has to apologize to spurs fans that Duncan isn't #1. Should I make a list with Jordan #1 and apologize to Heat fans that I didn't put Dwayne Wade first. I also don't like the little comment at the bottom where some ass says that he only picked Dream because he's from Houston. Is there really anybody outside of San Antonio that would think about taking Duncan over Dream?
You can't really consider Malone as an all-Californian team starter for one season in his twilight can you? Maybe put Webber or Worthy. I'd prefer Webber because it sickens me seeing the Californian team only being one NBA team.
Yea, There no way any front court can beat the Texas one, I mean, Dream, Robinson, and Moses. and then Barkley, Dirk and Duncan
I don't like how the article portrayed Barkley, he wasn't the MVP he was in Phoenix, but he played his butt off. http://www.nba.com/playerfile/charles_barkley/index.html Grabbed a career-high 33 rebounds and scored 20 points, in his Rockets debut, against the Phoenix Suns on 11/2/96
I don't even understand the Duncan comparison. He's was like Hakeem except worse at everything. Worse in the low post, worse midrange shooting, worse interior defense/blocks, worse help defense, no quick hands, no FT shooting. Is there any aspect of Duncan's game better than Hakeem? This is like Kobe vs Jordan to me, Kobe is worse in every way AND he plays in a less competitive era, makin it even worse for him.
Steve Nash was only in Texas a couple of years longer than Clyde and his first two years was full of injuries and he looked more like Robert Packs back up than the MVP that he turned into in phoenix. Clyde made multiple all-star games while in Houston, won a championship and averaged about 20pts, 5 assists, 6 rebounds and 2 steals while he was here. Nash had two ok years and two really good years with the Mavs but nothing compared to success that Clyde had with the Rockets. Steve Nash is not even the best PG to have played in Dallas. Jason Kidd has had a better career as a Dallas PG than Nash did. Kid was ROY, started for 6 seasons (Nash only started for 4) with 2 all-star appearances and fixing to have an NBA Championship series to go with it.
