A great day of rain, we need much much more...... The only downside was that my son's baseball practice was cancelled....Meh, who needs practice anyway? DD
I'm not surprised people were wearing coats and jackets. When I was in Austin, the students would start wearing beanies and hoodies when the weather got below 75. It was ridiculous.
I gotta agree here. It's currently 57 in Round Rock. I absolutely love this weather. I only wish it was the weekend so I could have an excuse to do nothing but sit on my ass and watch football. I love actual fall weather.
I see what some of you are saying, but the temperature wasn't really indicitive of how cold it got. Usually I love winter time and temps with my warm clothes, today I wore a shirt and some shorts and I was freezing my ass off. Yesterday was more like what Houston had today, then it just suddenly became cold. I don't know, maybe this summer heat has gotten to me so much that I'm just used to really hot temperatures.
It was 99-100 degree weather, the temperature differential makes it feel colder than it really is. Fall usually doesn't show up till nov. It is usually hot during sep.
Wow. This is about the 5th thread this week talking about mild weather changes. Death spiral is imminent.
It's not that cold. And F that, I'll take mid 60s-70s weather over the 'feels like 110' summer crap we get any day.
The only thing that sucks about this moderately cool weather is that it will be gone by this weekend.
but back on Tuesday!! today our high in houston is supposed to be 79...that's 9 degrees cooler than our average temp for this day....and only 1 degree warmer than tying a record for coolest high temp for this day.
Slightly inclement weather with a personal chance of a failstorm by OP's house. Dreadful? enjoy it for what it is, it will be 90 again within a couple of days.
Link?? This is the time of year when I watch the weather every night hoping for that first REAL cold front to make it's way into town. The colder the better, as far as I'm concerned.
