because he was a true artist, I think he was anything but a celebrity.

he will be considered one of the finest modern actors of any generation.

 

Subjective.

He didn't do anything of note outside of being an actor and a junkie.

His death certainly doesn't deserve all the media coverage compared to actual important ****. But I guess that's our culture now days.

 

Some people felt the same way about Michael Jackson's death coverage.... Art is nothing to be taken for granted... nor are the contributions those that were genuinely exceptional at their artistic craft gave to the world...

You say "actor" like it's as an insignificant a title as "janitor"....

 

it's a fact that he will regarded as such.
