Check out this verse by Drake, lil wayne is good too but like people have said he kind of goes into the deep end when he starts doing the entire alphabet. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/imMNBwBSfI4&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/imMNBwBSfI4&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
drake should take a tip from Curren$y and drop YM to do his own stuff instead of become a puppet for lil wayne. <object width="400" height="225"><param name="allowfullscreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><param name="movie" value="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=13855653&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=1&color=&fullscreen=1&autoplay=0&loop=0" /><embed src="http://vimeo.com/moogaloop.swf?clip_id=13855653&server=vimeo.com&show_title=1&show_byline=1&show_portrait=1&color=&fullscreen=1&autoplay=0&loop=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowscriptaccess="always" width="400" height="225"></embed></object><p><a href="http://vimeo.com/13855653">KRSP x Curren$y "Nothing But Us"</a> from <a href="http://vimeo.com/user3425618">krsp</a> on <a href="http://vimeo.com">Vimeo</a>.</p>

And the fuuny thing is 50 was trying to be Ja Rule. Dude talked so much smack about how all Ja did was R&B songs then right after Ja was gone he did the same thing.
He got platinum albums because he was a good rapper yes he may have been a fake ass thug but so are most rapper these days so that really doesnt say anyting. I think the only person that really murdered him was Em he came back at 50 and the rest pretty nice.
Drake is just another "Sign of the Times" rapper! His mainstream success will only last so long, then he will fall to the back like Ja Rule, DMX, Fat Joe, 50 cent and many more. There are only a handful of rappers that will remain strong with album sales for years to come. Those would be Eminem, Jay Z, Lil Wayne, and possibly Kanye. Sad thing about Drake is that he sounds totally different live. To much production just like Niki Minaj!
Speaking about horrible...I mean wow, I understand she gets away with being horrible because of sex appeal and all but wow...there just has to be a limit to this. I mean that was one of the lamest rhymes Yao Ming has ever been a part of.
Damn, surprised to see so much anti-Drake. I'm a pretty big rap fan, and I listen to lots of Drake. I think you just have to know and understand what you're listening to. Drake makes songs with good beats and a decent delivery. There's a time and place for everything...I love Lupe, but, save for a few songs, I don't know that I would really want to hear his music when I went out.
I'm sorry but the rap game is killed. There's nothing good anymore to be honest. It use to have a meaning, so called rappers like Lil Wayne and Drake, are "Best rapper of all time". It's gay how people think that, cause I see it all the time on the comments on youtube. There is only one rapper still in the game that I like. And that's my boy Eminem. He is the only thing keeping the real hip hop alive, and keeping the gay "p***y, money, weed" in the gutters. It's effing disgusting, to see Lil Wayne getting such high hits,l and Drake imo a product of Weezy. Drake has NO game. Eff hip hop, my life sentence is served
there's more to hip-hop than the mainstream. people say hip-hop is dead but there's good hip-hop if you know where to look. jay electronica has been putting out some good stuff and curren$y's new album was pretty nice.
Can you drop some more names of newer stuff to check out? Because I stopped listening to hip hop years ago when my fav acts from college like Mos Def and Dilated Peoples got stale and Jurassic 5 broke up. Also, all the underground groups just rap about how they're the greatest in hip hop. That **** got old so fast it wasn't even funny................
When people rag on Wayne, are they talking about post carter II or him altogether? Carter II was pretty beast.
