I think this guy just feels stupid because no one else likes his Drizzy. I give him his props for working his ass off to make himself some money, and a good life for him and his family. But aside from that I won't ever acknowledge him as an up and coming talent, or fall into his hype like you have. Drake is Drake ..he doesnt claim to be a gangster and doesnt rap about such things. The production is on point... of course theres $$$ backing that. His voice tends to become annoying and what sounds like a good song will start to annoy if listened to a number of times. His skill level is average to above average at times. I dont think hes horrible but Im not a fan.
Some people need to get off their hip hop high horse... A lot of hating going on around here...I feel like some of you believe that hip-hop is only deep thinking lyrics that'll blow your mind. Why can't it be fun? People don't want to be wowed all the time...it's nice to have music you can just jam/dance to. Just because it's not lyrical doesn't mean it's not hip-hop. It just so happens that the lyrical stuff isn't mainstream anymore. Just listen to Rapper's Delight for example...theres not much of a message in the song. Most of the time Sugarhill Gang are just rapping about themselves. It's still a fun song with a disco feel to it, but also considered a classic. Imo, hip-hop is just being yourself and sharing it with the world through a beat. Fake rappers are garbage. Not everyone is from the streets...so if you're like Drake and all you know is girls and "making it"...it's just fine by me because that's who he is.

He got murdered every time he tried to diss somebody, the most fake-ass thug ever. As for Drake, I have no opinion... never heard him. The only new rap I've listened to in the past 3 years is Em's new ****... which is greatness.
all rappers are garbage. They make you think bad **** is good like killing people,doing drugs,cheating on girls, stealing at the end they just lied to you. And all the the stuff they said they did was lie. Rappers actually graduated from high school or had ALL A's and half of the **** they talk about they never did. They make you feel ok that your a failure. A couple of them ice cube,ice-t,lil wayne,gucci mayne... but yeah you have to grow out of it and some people don't. I stopped listening to rap 2 years ago and Ive been a better person x100.
