No prob, that mixtape is definitely hot.

He is on Jay-z Blueprint 3 album which leaked out today. Kind of disappointed in Jay.

The grouprip isn't out yet but this looks to be official. Not really feeling the style on this album. I like smooth laidback beats.

Don't know if you guys ever heard of Evidence, but hes got a nice style. He reminds me a bit of of Fabolous just a little more hardcore.

This is one of my favorite tracks... cool video too..

I have a feeling a lot of rap fans are going to feel the same way. Same situations as Kanye's last album. Cudi is more of a "musician" than straight rapper. He likes to create songs that express himself regardless of what genre they fall into, it just so happens that they sometimes fall into the rap category.

I'll give the Cudi a second listen....on my first listen I sorta ran through it real quick....i was expecting different perhaps, since I like Cudi's style in his more "rap" songs if thats what you wanna call him...i think he's talented with his delivery...and I definitely can see the comparisons to the Kanye 808s & Heartbreaks.....

I definitely recommend the J.Cole mixtape though...haven't heard "The ComeUp" but I heard "the WarmUp" which I think was a sequel to the first one, and yeah def great stuff....also I know I'm late on Slaughterhouse, but damn. Love it.

Shaud I can see why you'd be disappointed in Jay, i was a bit too but I mean it's the reality of the business I guess...he addresses it on one of the tracks where he says somethin along the lines of people expecting him to be the same Jay from BP1 and BP2 and to rap about the same things but that he's grown now, life's changed, etc. I still appreciate some of the tracks though, some of them come real smooth. But definitely a different Jay, that's immediately evident on the "Thank You" track where he thanks the rest of the guys in the industry for their contributions....no more cocky Jay from BP2 where he "gave Dre his props, but that's where it stops, its the ROC". Interesting to see an artist evolve as a person as well as an artist.

And Sland, if you still need it, shoot me an email, I don't get a chance to check the board as often.
