XXcLusive: "Forever" Producer Speaks on Drake, Kanye, Lil Wayne & Eminem Collabo

When asked who he feels spit the best verse, Boi-1da was quick to state his opinion. "Honestly I'm gonna have to be biased and say Drake," he said, "really it's between Drake and Eminem. I've never seen anybody hold up on a song with Eminem, like usually Eminem blows out. Drakes my dude, and he's my favorite rapper, but knowing Eminem I thought he was gonna blow by everybody, but Drake came strong. It's like a toss up. And like that's never been done before, I never head a toss up between Eminem, it's always just Eminem cause he's a monster."

Actually there was no one close to Eminem on that track.

Drake has nice punchlines and stuff, but Em just destroyed that.

Do people actually view Drake as a legit rapper? He always struck me as more of an R&B guy who sometimes raps. Maybe I just haven't heard enough of his stuff yet.

He's a rapper who can harmonize. Hes got a good little voice for singing. Kinda like how Chamillionaire does it, although he uses his voice strictly for hooks. Drake is perfect for making money though, he appeals to both males and females.

I really prefer Kid Cudi over Drake, and it seems like these two are definitely at the vanguard of the hip hop industry. It's going to be exciting to see what else they come out with.

Not much has been said about Kanye, albeit he is usually hit or miss with people, but I'm really excited about his next album, especially after what everyone said about his 808's and Heartbreak project album.

I like Drake, but I agree on Kid Cudi. He's got my vote, and Wale is pretty good too...but once Lupe Fiasco drops his new album...Game Over.

That mixtape was actually him trying to do everybody else's thing. Of course he's showing himself in these other drops, but at least those 16 tracks in so far gone maybe its a demonstration of his range/versatility or he's trying to find himself, but he's taking cues from Wayne, Kanye, and Lupe. It will be interesting to see what he focuses on when he gets a real album.

He hasn't really been in the game for very long but is blasting on to the scene with So Far Gone, Comeback Season wasn't a bad mixtape either.

I guess I'm one of the spoiled guys that grew up during what I consider some of the best rap out there. 2Pac, Biggie, NAS, and back even earlier. I have gotten tired of todays Hip Hop to the point I just don't even listen to the radio anymore.

It's good to see some new guys like these finally spitting some rhymes instead of someone like Solider boy singing one verse over and over and over and become famous. Give me a break.

I agree with most people in regards to Eminem, he needs to leave that TV pop rap alone and go back to the stuff that made him who he is. Or at least come up with an album to mirror his other one. Till this day I can listen "Till I collapse" a millions times over and not get tired of it.

    Just my 2 cents.

I'm gald yall like my new track. It was a real honor to work with these guys and have them co-sign my work.

Still, if you could check with me before posting these leaked tracks, I'd appreciate it.
