I'm able to get into the Inner Sanctum, it's just my party is not there waiting for me. I'll try it again and see. Thanks for the help.
Yeah, no luck. Went through each section again and completed everything, my party still isn't meeting me at the Inner Sanctum.
Did you try the *very* first level, the one called "Fortress" or whatever, that's at the very top of the symbol? I almost overlooked that one. Btw by coincidence, I'm at exactly the same part of the game. Just left The Fade last night.
I think they're suppose to reappear once you start talking to the Sloth. It could also possibly be that your party's approval rating isn't high enough and they chose not to fight with you.
Speaking of approval ratings, how messed up is this? I'm playing as a hot female elf. And my goal is to get my character to hook up with Morrigan. So every action I do -- all dialogue, all moral decisions -- is with an eye to pleasing Morrigan... even if it's not something I personally morally agree with. Part of me thinks this is ridiculous, but part of me thinks it's actually quite like reality -- in life, we sometimes do things we regret, just to impress a woman. So this is my game within a game.
I found this game too easy. I was playing on hard settings and breezed through it. Was expecting harder game play. Little disappointed.
Which version were you playing, console or PC? Apparently BioWare made the console difficulties easier than the PC version.
Spoiler Hate to tell you this, but Morrigan is not a romance option if you're playing a female character. Leliana is though.
So I finally got around to beating this game and I loved every second of it. I played through as a noble human rogue and it was awesome! Bioware really does not disappoint. Their games just keep getting better and better. I am gonna start a second play through pretty soon as a mage I think. I'll be picking up the Awakening expansion as well. Spoiler I chose to romance Morrigan and stuff. At the end, I accepted her offer and everything. It kind of sucks that no matter what you pick she leaves the party. They better pull a Mass Effect and let me transfer my character over to the sequel. And I better get to find out what happens with that storyline!!
My brother got this and finished it in almost 4 weeks. Played it day and night when he's not at work. Kinda crazy how it took control of his life like that. I'll wait till the cheats come out.
You can transfer your character to Awakening. I also loved this game. It is one of the few games that I actually finished, and thought about played a second time around.
<br> Man, I beat the game in a week. I did everything possible and nitpicked at all of it. I logged about 70 hours in that timespan. Now lets add in the fact that it is finals week.... Yeah I pretty much got about 8 hours of total sleep this week. But, it was worth it!
You sir, need to get your priorities checked  Bad news: my bro just said there probably won't be any cheats for this. Lame.
It's an awesome game, and though I like Mass Effect, Dragon Age is more fun for me. Anyway, I'm on my third character right now. The first one was a human noble warrior with dual weapon specialty and berserker/reaver specialization. I finished the game with Morrigan as my interest. My second character was a mage that I turned into an arcane warrior/blood mage. I got close to the end, but never finished it with this one. My current character is another human noble warrior, but this time with sword and shield combat and a berserker/champion specialization. I'm taking my time and trying to go through all the quests I can find + DLC. Then when I'm done, I was thinking about getting DAO Awakening and importing my character. I've heard that when you import your character to Awakening, you have to have the equipment on you that you want to take, and that you can't take equipment from DLC? Is that true? Also, it's been announced that there will be a new DLC where you can play as darkspawn in a "what-if" scenario where your Dragon Age character actually died during the joining in DAO. When you finish this DLC, you will get some sort of item you can use in DAO and Awakening.
