    Props to Dragic for balling out of control during a contract year, he got paid and now he can go back to PHX and rot away like every other player that goes there.

    With a 5 yr contract the Rockets could've offered more guaranteed overall money but less per year and thrown in a ETO or player option.

    Damn... I know a lot of you are anti-paying to gogi but if we did let him go this is pretty disappointing. Really wanted Dragic back in a Rox uniform.

    I get the feeling that fans are hating just for the sake of hating. If the Rockets had just signed Dragic to that same deal, I bet this board would be complaining about our mediocrity for the rest of the decade.

    Given that this offense is so favorable for PGs, there's nothing to suggest another PG couldn't replicate what Dragic did. After all, Brooks a low 1st rounder did well before his injury. Lowry replaced him and did well. Dragic replaced him and did well. It wouldn't be surprising if Lin or someone else like Felton also come in and put up similar stats.
