Didn't you watch the playoffs this year?

How on earth can you compare Brent Barry to Ray Allen?

Ray dropped 51 points in game 6, he's not washed up.

if we can somehow get Rip Hamilton, I am all for letting go of T-mac

God to think just last off-season, I scoffed at all the Pistons / T-mac trade scenarios...I would kill to have those back now

Ray is like Rafer. He can be red hot one night and 24 hours later he is gonna be 1/10.

Honestly, I don't really want to get into that stuff. Let's just see what happens. Personally, I think we can win a ring with a Healthy t-mac next year...but I also think if we get something good in return then so be it.

Ship mcgrady to the knicks for the 8th pick, curry, and filler

and draft Demar Derozan, assuming evans and harden are gone by 8

Ray Allen is one of the best shooters in NBA history, when in the world did Rafer EVER score 51 points?

When did Rafer EVER win the NBA 3 point shooting contest?

Some people here OBVIOUSLY did not watch the Boston vs Bulls series.

    I don't believe that:

    A. - Tmac will be healthy - history shows otherwise
    B. - Tmac can win in the playoffs - history shows otherwise

Agreed with the so be it part of your post.

Nooo. Why would the Rockets possibly want to trade T-mac. He is the greatest player to ever play the game when he played for Orlando, and now he needs to play hard since its contract year so we will see a similiar T-mac come and take the leadership role of the team. This is a huge mistake.

I was thinking about it for a while and actually I like McGrady to New York deal. But who can we get for him? David Lee? We don't need him. We need a reliable scorer playing sg and Knicks don't have one.

But for New York, Tracy this idea would be very good. Why? First of all, D'Antoni is their coach and I do belive McGrady would find himself very comfortable in this system.

What's more I really like Knicks team. They really have a lot of talent and good pieces like Harington, Duhon (who had an amazing year with them), great bench player in Robinson. Chandler and Galinari are also gonna be better. What they are missing is a real AlStar and I do belive McGrady could give them whet they are missing. I do see them in the playoffs next year. They just need to become tougher and play smarter.

And I do belive Tracy and his family would like to move to NY.

I can't believe no one mentioned this. The article starts off declaring that Monta Ellis wants a trade out of GS. Also I remember Clutch tweeting that the Rockets were looking to draft a young PG. I

Why take a chance in the draft when we can get a proven young PG in Ellis?
TMAC and Aaron Brooks(reluctantly) for Ellis and Maggette. I would take Jackson over Maggette, but it looks like the GSW want Baron Davis and S-Jack back together.

The salaries work out if I'm correct.

You still didn't answer my question. Since he is that good, why do the celtics want to shop him?

I like this trade than the GSW one because we get K-Mart. 24.6 ppg on the season and 26 years old. This kid scored 50 pts on 11-22 from the field including 5-11 from 3.

I don't see this trade happening without including Brooks. The Kings will want more than cap relief and future picks for Martin.

If Ray Allen can play PG, yea i would want to trade for him. If you trade for him so he can start as a SG for us...then i don't want him. He's weak...can't create his own shot and can't play D. He can only shoot.

You got to have Battier and Artest in the starting lineup. That is why i don't even want Tmac to start due to many weakness he possessed. One being weak on defense. Two being heartless and a will to win.

If there is one upgrade we need is at a PG position...someone like Nash or Rubio will be great.

Wait WHAT? Lmao.. you are trying to be way too smart and failed miserably. Simply put, just because we took the Lakers to 7 games doesnt make us better than Orlando, Denver and whoever else Lakers beat in fewer games. Simple as that. I don't want to hear excuses. I gave the Atlanta example because just like us, they were the only team to take the Celtics to 7 games last year, that doesn't mean they were better than other teams that Celtics beat in fewer games that year, i.e. Lakers. Got it?!! Unless you are implying otherwise, go get me my damn friggin fries.
