20-30 games doesn't sound so bad. He would be forced to come off the bench and I wouldn't mind that, Odom did it at a high salary and got the ring.

I wouldn't want him shipped for just someone, no to Redd/Allen/Hamilton. They're all good players but we need a playmaker/slasher who has some type of mid range game. If Morey chooses to deal him, I rather it be at the deadline unless he's getting some like Kobe/Lebron/Wade/Melo/Roy/Durant now, which is doubtful.

I hope DM won't contact NY. The number 8 plus any combo from them can't help us.I like Lee but not for McGrady. Pass up on Redd,he is injured and isn't good enough. We need a closer.Granger comes close to one,Rip is experienced. Any combination with either one of them would be very nice. It's not likely to happen as we all know. I think Carter should be targeted as well. He isn't the best fit,but he can help us more than Redd for instance. We need an upgrade at the point and a backup center as well. It's a daunting task,Tracy needs to come back and play at a respectable level in order to be moved IMO.

I totally agree, not worried too much about Scola's endurance. I just want to see this team with Yao/T-Mac/Artest in the playoffs with our supporting cast once and let them win it. Without being a homer/bias, they have enough to challenge both LA and Boston. As it is every year, health.

This article doesn't mean much, we're not getting a top notch player for him now but at the deadline if DM wants him to go who knows???

We shall see what is gonna happen. It is gonna be interesting, but as I told you guys before, for me McGrady is staying in Houston.

As for those 20-30 game, it is only a speculation. We should know that at the end of this month.

As I suspected, they don't want him poisoning the first half of their season.

I don't get this. In the "modern" NBA you have to trade contracts, don't you... or at least be within some percentage points of equivalency. In sum, you pretty much have to send the $$ away what you bring in...

With TMac, we will be lucky to get a Redd/Allen/Hamilton. It's funny you stilll compare TSlack with Kobe/Lebron/Wade/Melo/Roy/Durant. He is not even better than von Wafer right now.

What do the Knicks have that we cna get that will be an upgrade over Tracy? The draft isn't that good and the Knicks are not that good.

You're right, it just means that they're so fed up with his BS that they'll take a lesser deal to get rid of him before training camp.

well his clearly not getting dumped and I applaud management for not dumping him for chump change. Guys we aren't Memphis. If we can't shop him for something of value we might as well keep him

Well, here is the problem. Tmac's action in the trading deadline has pretty much burned the bridges between Morey and the rockets.

I think it is the right thing to do now. seeking trade value of Tmac during summer and pull a trade toward the deadline.

Certainly, the last we want to do is to keep Tmac. would a healthy mac helped? yes. However, would a healthy tmac play team ball? NO. no matter which t-mac we get, he will be a distraction.

Like someone said before we are missing a player like kobe, wade, lebron...etc. Kobe - impossible, Lebron - near impossible. Wade? questionable.

What if the teams that are trying to resign lebron or wade were told by the agent that they refused to resign and going to test the open market and be with a team that can win it all?

Rockets who is the only team who took Lakers to game 7 and did it with Tmac out and partially out with Yao. That is going to be a great selling pt when it comes to attracting great player.

You know I was kind of hoping the same thing after the playoffs. It's not really that the Yao-Tmac combination didn't work, it's just that injuries plagued both of them, and they weren't able to overcome the loss of each other during playoff time. Now there's times when they have been both healthy and still couldn't get it done, but they didn't have as strong as a supporting cast like they do now. Franking seeing Tmac in a Knick uniform would just seem a little to weird to me. Remember what happens to Rockets players when they go tothe Knicks (Steve Francis). Overall if we do end up trading him, hopefully his time somewhere else is more productive and successful than here in Houston.

Also on a side note, I don't really think any of the talent in this years draft is currently greater than what Tmac could give the Rockets if he were actually healthy. Also who could we get for the Knicks' 8th pick? I can only see us getting Curry, Evans, or DeRozan, if they fall that far. Would that be enough for the Rockets to get it done? Also the Knicks would also probably throw in a current player on their roster. It said the Rockets want a SG, I don't really want Larry Hughes.. or who ever else they have on their roster besides Chandler, Harrington, or Lee. It's great that there's a possibility that we might not even trade Brooks. I'd rather see Tmac go than Brooks. Hopefully this move helps the franchise and helps the Rockets win a championship next year. Houston Fans can't wait 1 or 2 years for a player to develop.

Draftexpress have some fun rumors but they've never gotten it right. I think they get fed false info by other teams most of the time. Remember their Battier for Darius Miles rumor?

With all due respect, what makes you think that we will know when Tracy is going to play by the end of this month. Didn't he have microfractive surgery?
