The biggest complaint from Hawk fans is he takes way too many jumpers when he is not a good jump shooter.

Amare defense is horrible, he wouldn't have a PG who knows how to pass it to him.

    Yao would clog the lane

    Amare's attitude sucks

Surgery on his knee, detached eye........I rather we avoid players who have had a string of bad luck injuries.

In defense of Scola, I like our PF............okay I am favoring......

Haha but if we also got Nash, okay I am sold.

im assuming artest wont stay, but yea there good be a lot of ball stoppage but for once we might finally get some good penetration and the good thing is he actually plays some D of the weak side which is a plus. amare would be good but suns need to get better with the trade of nash will opt out or not sign an extension and they are really hell bent on keeping the aging pg who has great skill. maybe a top draft pick and tmac could nab amare and a sg, but i think josh smith will be easier to get, i hope he can fit into the system though.

yea i saw that but right now i cant think of someone off the top of my head that people are actively shopping that could get some wing scoring. the whole kevin martin ideas are not plausable, they are rebuilding around him and hes young, i dont care how much expiring they get they will not let him go. as for smith, yea he is a chucker, a bonehead but if we can get a solid team ready for training camp that would be ideal be it him or someone else that can help contribute. this whole artest issue is also pending so it makes things complicated, we might have him or not so we have to plan accordingly to get a scorer or someone that can get to the ft line. and sadly josh smith isnt great at ft's either .

Can Lowry pass? Nash did make him better but he's got an all around post game. Just throw the ball to in the paint and move out the way. On his attitude, we didn't know how Artest's attitude would be but he turned out great for us. Amare is on his last year of his contract so he will be on his best behavior. All the benefits outweigh the little risk.

amare needing steve nash is one of the biggest myths i've ever heard. he would get his anywhere he goes. the only question is his passion. he's one of the more complete big men offensively (post up, jump shot, athleticism, ability to finish inside, play pick and roll...).

One thing I am happy about is that Clutchs post definetly makes it seem like a trade could happen sooner than later.

Waiting till Feb could be more beneficial.

Or we would strike out. At least having a set roster in October will give us plenty of time.

I don't see how people could think that we can get Martin after we got Ron Artest from them the last offseason. Maybe next offseason we can get the rest of their team.

Their owners are near bankruptcy, they will be looking to save money by auctioning off long term deals for shorter term ones until the economy turns around.

u know the economy is terrible when the healthcare industry is affected. so i won't be surprised at anything.

kevin martin would be a great fit on this team. kevin martin, ray allen, rip hamilton are tailor-made for an adelman-offense.

come-on now. it ain't happening. we probably have a better chance of getting Amare than the fool. Besides, if they trade his ass away wtf would they have left, Spencer Hawes? HAAA! that's a joke.

From the grizzles, we got Battier, and then Lorry! I am expecting we can get their no.2 pick as well. :D

A great trade for Amare would be this in my opinion:

Landry (3mil) and Artest (10 mil) for Amare (14mil)

Obviously, we would have to sign Artest first. Scola would be really good off the bench and could play both, the PF and C position. Furthermore, Scola would still be getting around 25-30 minutes a game unless we sign another backup center.
