I second that. he compares Brent Barry to Ray Allen cause they are 'both' great shooters then he says why would a team trade a good player (many great players, hall of famers have been traded) then he says he compared two events not players and boston trading for tmac makes no sense either
NY trades: Larry Hughes Cuttino Mobley (insurance covered) 8th Pick for Houston Trades: Tracy Mcgrady Chuck Hayes
You guys have been arguing about Barry/Allen for 3 pages now. This is irrelevant and nobody gives a golden sh-t.
Can we release Larry Hughes back into the wild afterwards? Switch out Cook with Hayes and you have a D*MN DEAL! Rocket River
are you saying that he has good practice habits? good conditioning habits? there's not anyone reputable even attempting to make that argument. for good reason. what parts of the overwhelming evidence did you miss?
Every one sounds like the heat fans before last year. When they hated D Wade. Give it a break you guys will either be mad because he is on another team doing well or happy because he is on the rockets doing well. he had a light microfracture surgery thats why he is expecting to recover so soon. He will be back and everybody that has worked with Jordan's trainer has had a monster year.
Don't expect to get anybody that can help you out NOW if we get that 8th pick. We could probably get DeRozan who has AMAZING potential but will not really help the first year. We are contending now so we should get someone at least close to McGradys level if healthy.
The problem RR is that we wont really have someone who can help us out NOW. We are in contending mode and an 8th pick is not really going to help us out now. This draft isn't too talented and the only people who can really help us out in the draft is pretty much Griffin and Harden.
yes. we talked for quite a few posts and you have not said anything of substance in supporting your own assertions. in fact, you only changed the subject and tried to support an indefensible stance with assumptions, unfounded opinions, and more poor logic. therefore, your logic sucks. and, for good measure, tinman validated my assertion. but, at least you know how to use the smileys apparently. that's nice.
If we intend on getting DeRozan then we will not resign Von Wafer. Von Wafer, James White and DeMar DeRozan all on the bench? They bring the same thing to the table and I would take Wafer over DeRozan in a heartbeat. DeRozan is unproven and wasn't as good in college as Von in the NBA by per minute.
If that could get us where we need to be salary wise to resign Artest, Wafer, and get someone like Pachulia or any other freeagent big man I'm all for that trade. I would be sad to see Chuck go though. If you think about it though, Chuck was the only guy between the two that we are trading that contributed to our playoff run so losing T-mac and Chuck for Hughes and whatever we can do with the extra cash would be a vast improvement for next year. I just don't see us getting the #8 pick from New York, they have been publicly stating they want Stephen Curry with the #8 pick. I think if we are to get a draft pick we will get it from Sacramento or Memphis for a Brooks + filler package. I think the Brooks + Hayes or Cook + our 1st rounder next year would be a no brainer from our perspective. Not really sure what Mephis or Sacramento is looking for though. Definitely would like that #2 pick though from Memphis.
Unless we can get Thabeet or Rubio, I don't see the point in trading Brooks for a pick. It's not worth the risk of trading a proven player going up for a bust.
are you serious? do me a favor please. take your hand and feel the top of your head, and tell me if there are big scars or bumps. maybe a place where portions of your brain may have been removed, or a big scar like something really big may have hit you in the head. i am genuinely concerned.
