Methinks that draft pick, whomever he may be, will never wear a Rockets uniform.

in a draft this deep? or are you implying a drat-day trade? we can definitely pick up a serviceable player in this draft, and it'd be crime if we didn't.

how about NC's Jawad Williams? fast, lanky but strong, decent shot, played with dominant big men and plays well without the ball.

Joey Graham is my pick. He's amazingly athletic, a strong player inside who plays great defense, bangs the boards (particularly effective on the offensive end), goes straight to the hole and hits about 88% of his free throws. He's not a power forward although he has played the spot effectively. I think we have to look elsewhere to fill the starting PF spot than this draft.

I can envision bringing JG off the bench next year to provide some needed defense and a spark and even as a PF when other teams (like Dallas) go small on us. Wingspan is a key with Joey. His wingspan and athleticism would help us to shut down guys like Stack and give us another banger to defend Dirk. The best description for the guy is a workhorse. Sort of an Otis Thorpe type (a bit smaller but plays as big as OT).
