    If they draft Dwight Howard, wouldn't they keep Brand until Howard developed? It appears Chris Wilcox is the odd man out in this scenario.

    All the analysts that are looking at Howard say he is not ready for the NBA right now but will be. That is why he is an investment in the future. I doubt they will just get rid of Brand and have Howard step in. That would be taking a step back. They will Keep Brand around long enough to develop Howard. Any extras will be sacrificed.

    Nothing has changed significantly now that Orlando has the #1 pick. They were already talking like they were going to win it and the whole thing about it was that they don't want T-Mac to have to sit through a rookie's mistakes, when he is already ticked off.

    Okafor would really help the magic out in the future, but just adding Okafor would still make them lottery bound, its just not enough help for T-Mac. Even though Okafor would fill in the C position, the rest of the team is a joke. Besides T-Mac and Howard, the rest of the Magic shouldn't even be starting.
