Watch his youtube "highlight videos" and check out when he's taking Collison from UCLA (regarded as the best on ball defender in the Pac 10), 6'5 Aaron Afflalo from UCLA, 6'7 Marcus Williams from Arizona, 6'4 Mustafa Shakur from Arizona, and 6'8 Chase Budinger from Arizona to the hole.

So is there anyone who's seen more than 2 full college games of Brooks' career who thinks this is a bad pick? Seriously.

I don't know but I would go with F. They made bad decisions. They picked up another 2 point guards.

What to be determined? Can you name one good off-season for the Rox since the T-mac trade?

Spare me, if you think Nash, Davis, and Parker are great defenders I feel sorry for you. Steve Nash playing defense?! Please. I'll give you Billups and maybe Kidd on his good nights but the other three can not defend that well.

Don't worry guys. That draft wasn't/isn't/won't be important for us. Why? Casuse you can't get good players with pick #26 and then #54 in the 2nd round. Those players probably won't play much next season so don' worry. I know we could bring maybe forward but now it doesn't matter. We need players like Novak, VSpan maybe Lucas to play more and better next year.

Now the main thing for the organizations are Free Agents and Trades.

This is unbelievable what new managenment has done.
Bunch of r****ds would have done better.
Try trading these new scrubs you picked.
Morey, If I had a say I would fire you on the spot. You let us all down with these r****ded selections.

I'm gonna forget about the Rockets for a while.
So many good prospects out there and we end up with a midget, a whoi? and an australian? Give me a break. I would make a great GM cause Iwouldnt have made any of those choices.

More was doin' well but he sucked in the draft. But I'll say it again. Those players won't play much minutes. Now Morey put up your ass and start searchin' for good Power Forward

RIght now he's concentrated on Free Agents and another trades. Picks #26 and #54 wouldn't make us better

did you want Harold Minor over Robert Horry?

Lets see what Slick Rick has up his sleeve. I'm positive about the pick. he seems like a guy who plays with heart.

I wished I was Portland fan. Last year Roy, now Oden and Rudy Fernandez.
Wish our Gm was half as good.
But morey, you had your chance and you blew it. What a bad start!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You know, in 2 years Portland will be much much better than Houston. Let those guys get some experience.

We don't have crap besides Yao and T-Mac.

We are the shallowets team in the league. No way will we win a Championship. Not even get past the first round.

We don't have a bench and we don't have any scorers not named Yao or Tracy.

we need a legit 4 and then we'll be an elite team.

I gave the draft a C, but as others have rightly pointed out; you can't really evaluate a draft until a couple of years down the road.

Don't think we got value for our picks, and now we officially have two undersized power forwards on our roster.

Best case senario for our 31st pick: Juawan Howard in his prime, ... so I'm not exactly down on the guy

Worst case senario for our 31st pick: Undersized Mo Taylor

I actually think there is very little risk to this pick, but there might have been a better option available at the top of the 2nd round.

As far as Brooks goes; I like the kid and think his game definately translates to the NBA; however, his measurables do not. I worry about his size. Again, I just don't think we got good value for the pick considering how much great talent was left.

Still, I think this was another relatively safe pick:

Best case senario for Brooks: Faster, undersized Billups

Worst case senario for Brooks: Kenny Anderson only 2 inches shorter (Ouch!)

Love the Aussie pick in the late 2nd. Have actually seen that guy show up on scouting reports before. Nice to have a talent developing overseas, be it in Isreal or Austrialia.

C ... with the possibility for a B or a D. Only time will tell.
