Um your missing the point of this Thread (Forcasting!) Ford can opt out after this season just like Lebron,Bosh,D'Wade etc... As I said if Bosh can be had for a package of AB I would do it in a heartbeat.. Then replace AB with Ford..

How many times did it take for you to hit Play Lottery before we got the #1 pick?

We have a slim to none chance of getting the pick and we may need to Play Again before we hit the lottery as you did, many more times than you did.

Sorry to tell you this but if you listen to the way the wind is blowing it says Morey will not pick in this upcoming draft. He will trade it away to get a better deal in a sign & Trade.
For the next few seasons the team needs players with some experience not more players to train .
Even so who knows the mind of Morey the Wizard!! :p

rockergordon, how many refreshes did it take for you to get Wall for us? I spent like two hours and only managed to get us Cousins at #3.

Sorry to tell YOU this, but unless the Rockets pull a draft day deal (as opposed to a sign-and-trade deal), Morey WILL be picking in this year's draft.

Sign-and-trade transactions cannot occur before July 8. The Rockets aren't even allowed to TALK to other teams' free agents-to-be until July 1. The 2010 NBA Draft is in late June.

    You do the math.

(No disrespect, Yetti. I just thought the tone of your email above was a little demeaning for one that was just flat out incorrect.)

    :p

Yeah, I think wall is overrated. But, I think I know how to solve this:
trade wall for Brook Lopez. NJ would take the deal immeaditaly and then we have a nice young big man to play PF or to be Yao's backup

yea, I don't think we have a shot at the top picks realistically, if so, I am also a believer in wall being overrated. He has had some special moments, yet hes still turnover prone and not high enough assists or doesn't really have a specialty to make up for anything, sure hes athletic which gives him a lot of potential, but who knows what that will really amount to.

I like turner, a brandon roy like player is something you can't go wrong with, he does everything and does not need the ball or attention to contribute to the offense, he would also fit better with Yao. If we could do the wall for Brook Lopez deal, then we definitely have to do that, brook lopez would be our star for the next decade and flourish in this offense

How dare you underestimate the power of Dork Elvis!! I think he would be able to get picks 5-10 and somehow get a marquee franchise player already playing in the NBA.

Anything is possible. With a late lottery pick and a bunch of other assets the Rockets can make a move this summer. Trading for a top pick would be one possiblity.

NO NOT BRANDON ROY! He cannot play with a big man and needs the ball in his hands. Notice how he only does good when he doesn't have to play with oden and can be their #1 weapon. Besides we already have martin
