You missed Dampier carrying an awful Miss St. team to the Final Four.

Wow. They must believe in this kid. Maybe he is just misunderstood. He doesn't seem like a bad guy. He is either an all star or a bust. Not to much middle ground for him because he has so much talent.

What do you have to give to get him. It starts with Brooks I presume. Flynn was a semi bust so Getting a starting pg helps right now. We all have to include at least next years first and maybe the following plus the 14th.

That might cut it. They need a center bad. Why not cousins for themselves. Maybe they Like Orton better.

If we could get Cousins for brooks that would be the steal of the draft. Cousins (with a good head) may be the most talented player in the draft. Is the most valuable player in draft.

If you ever watched either player, you would know that their games are nothing alike.

You bring up a point; surely if they were going to move up to 4 and take Cousins, they would keep him, right? Or do you's think this is part of a bigger move to ship him off for a Bosh or someone like that?

I would keep Cousins who can play with his back to the basket over Bosh all day.

If that is all it takes, you do that right away. Detroit's 7th pick is a big advantage though. I'm guessing Minnesota is asking for Hill+14th+2012 Knicks pick.

Wait, I like cousins as much as the next guy, but you are suggesting you'd pass on a Team USA talent for a kid with a huge question mark on him right now?

    That seems a little silly.

I am not a Martin fan just because I don't believe he can execute in clutch games and further in the playoffs.
It's a gamble but getting quality big men back I would want to look into that.

Agree, if the rockets can aquire the #4 pick, trust me its going to be painful in terms of the talent and assets they will have to give up. I see a very slim chance that the rockets could get that deal done without having to give up some of their core players and future considerations.

First of all, why is everyone high on Cousins? I watch some highlights of him on Youtube...he ain't that good and nothing special to me. Kind of a slow player..slow shooting...slow dunking...slow quickness. WHY WHY WHY IS people high on this guy? I dont' get it. If i get #4 pick...i wouldn't waste my pick on him.

I thought i seen a another tall dude that is much more impressive but he's a high schooler i think. He pretty much block everything.

    Charlie P from 790 said..

Minnesota would probably ask for Budinger, Hill, 14th and the knicks pick.

    that's a pretty steep price

Yes, Bosh just doesn't do that much for me and I wouldn't build my team around him.

you dont have to pay cousins $500 million dollars right now either, which is also a plus . . .

If we get the 4th I hope the Nets pick Cousins and they leave us Favors. That would be a blessing for us.
