I think hes talking about the peklovich guy...thatd be crazy if we got the no 4 pick and him ... We take favors or johnson and get peklovich as back up center. that seems like an unconventional morey move to me...o

Now I start to believe in a possible trade.

Nets still undecided at No. 3, but leaning toward Wes Johnson. If Minny wants its man at No 4, sources say NJ will make Minny pay with picks

Not sure if want with Cousins...but I'd have to trust the big man in the FO if we swung a deal for #4.

Now, this is going to get even more interesting with Minny not getting their guy at #4.

If they do make a trade, they'll get some good pieces. Say they deal with DET, they'll probably get a SF they want or a 2 (at the draft position that the Pistons have). Same with us. Both teams have pieces the Pups want, and do want.

Or, *laughs* this could be a bigger smokescreen since, well, last year's draft.

    Ouch.

NJ isn't playing this off-season so far.

Sounds like posturing by the Nets to me, every team is trying fleece every other team this time of year. You gotta take everything with a grain of salt.

What would Minny give to move up one spot in the draft? One of their extra 1st rounders? Don't they have an extra 2?

New Jersey may be inadvertently helping out the Rockets by trying to hold Wes Johnson hostage at #3 in order to get Minnesota to trade up 1 spot.

Not sure. Perhaps yeah, their extra first rounder(or 2).

*Saying this from a Rockets standpoint* :p They shouldnt force anything at 4. Maybe trading back would be best for them.

i think in this case, it would take a LOT. especially if they are after the same guy at #3, that changes EVERYthing. I've heard from sources they are pretty much set on who they want, they are just building some doubt to the public to increase their bargaining power.

You're absolutely right, a no branier to not draft. The kid has attitude problems and is lazy. Let someone else develop him and we can sign him later. He's not better than what we have now and can't play center in the L as a rookie.

He will easily be a 15-8 player his first season.

You don't get a chance to sign guys like that later. And he is almost certainly better than anything we have now, except possibly Scola.

Hakeem had an attitude problem too -- but I'm glad we didn't get rid of that guy hoping to sign him later when they cleared up!

Exactly what I was about to say...

Not that I'm for/against Cousins, just sayin'.
