pretty sure morey has the same expectations for a #4 and #33 pick.

and what does touting someone "pretty highly" even mean? Of course positive expectations for his draft picks.

and why should we hope cousins is any good yet? It's not like we have drafted him or even acquired the pick yet.

I would actually consider this, I like Brooks but Rubio will be better and I like Hill but Cousins will be better plus a solid, yet overpaid, player like Gomes...at first glance I'd be ok with this. My only issue is Rubio isn't coming till 2011 so we would have to find a stop gap at the point to go along with Lowry. Now if they buy another pick in the 20s and pick a point then...why not.

Euros can flop just as easily as college players. See former Rocket draft picks, Spanoulis and Nachbar, former DD crushes.

You know those traders that once you get a peek at their position summary during the middle of the day, you RUN back to your desk so you can FADE them?

I am absolutely THRILLED that the one guy Morey is rumored to be after has DD's stamp of disapproval.

Don't worry, if this rumor turns out to be true and we do nab Cousins, DD will change his tune. You can pretty much count on that.

I don't think we are going to deal Martin. He is a Morey guy and relatively cheap for what he can bring us. He will make it easier for Yao.....

We finally get a quality SG and you want to trade him away for a rookie prospect????? If I were to trade Kmart, it would have to be for one of the top two prospects.......not the fat one

You usually put out quality stuff, but this one is ballsy my friend.....

I hear what you are saying but cousins is just under 6'10. Also, at this stage of his career his weight needs to be under 275. His vert is well below average and needs improvement.

Well done knowledgeably fan, you question the previous post, and then you say that AB, CBUD and HILL can be stars

If you were a GM in this league you would probably be slapped left and right by Morey everytime a trade would be made

AB WILL NEVER BE A STAR, just look at Nate Robinson, the only difference is Nate plays D, but they both have offensive scoring skill with no passing skill whatsoever

For you to be a star you have to play D, it is not a matter of 20 ppg, Monta ellis scores 25, but he is not a star, he just has offensive talent, I don´t even care about players being stars, it is more important guys like Kendrick Perkins, or Baby Davis, or Lamar odom

    DD

The question is, who are the top C´s in the league???

How many decent C there are??? And I mean true Cs......

I love C.bud or hill, but for you to get players with the same talent in SF or PF positions you just look at this draft and you will see it

Luke Babbitt and Paul George have the talent to be as good, if not much better, then C BUD

D.Favors, Greg Monroe will both be as better as Hill

I only gave examples, as this draft is so deep, but you know, good player at the SF, or PF position are easy to have, great player at the C are probably the most difficult to get.

Of course you can´t give 5 young players for 1 great young stud, that still has to prove himself, and you know as much as me that Morey will not give not overpay for no one, just look at Kevin Martin.

I have this idea, Morey is the guy that demands, even if he is the guy trying to trade, he just demands, and makes other GM´s equal what he want´s, and of course when you have assets as he does, it gets easier

While preparing for the Kings draft last year, the idea of a Kevin Martin-Ricky Rubio backcourt seemed really intriguing. Their strengths and weaknesses seem to complement each other quite well....

I wonder if this is Morey's thinking as well. Rubio supposedly is a great defender and more of pass and create than shoot first PG. He would look nice next to Martin, who IMO is not going anywhere.

If we could somehow pry Rubio away then now we're talking.

Forget Bosh, let get Cousins and Rubio.

Would AB, Hill, #14 and NYK 2012 pick be enough?

    Rubio/Lowry
    Martin/Buddinger
    Ariza/Battier/Jeffries
    Scola/Cousins
    Yao/Andersen/Hayes

Did you just compare Nate Robinson to AB? Wow, i guess you dont watch basketball.

O wait did you also just say Lamar Odom plays defense? I stopped reading after that.

Yes I compares AB to Robinson

No I didn´t say Odom plays D, I talked about non star players that are very important for both teams

And yes you should stop reading because you don´t know how to do it

IMO it would take AB, Hill, #14, 2011 NYK swap, 2012 NYK pick and Bud.

In other words, it's highly unlikely.
