You make a tough argument for J.J.

The problem with it is JVG IS NOT going to go with a zone. Maybe with a Rudy T type coach, it would work. Can't see it working with Reddick. Unless we got a lock down defensive shot blocking machine at the 4 to take all the heat off Yao from the dribble penetration of all the guards leaking past Reddick on defense.

What about Rajon Rondo. No one mentioning him but he is a great defender. Not your best shooter though, he wont be hitting 3s for us. I hope JVG is gone before the draft. Reddick sounds like an awsome fit for us. HE just needs to shoot the ball, thats all. We would have no srong defensive players though in the backcourt. **** defense, this team isnt meant for it.

We are 3 and 30 when scoring less than 90. Anyone who thinks defense is more important is ****in crazy. We need to score more than 90 points a game, thats what. We have topped a 100 likek what, 5 times?

I wouldn't mind seeing JJ either. I think he could really excel on a team where he wouldn't need to create his own shot, and that's definately Houston. Additionally, folks have been trying to get under his skin for the past 2 years anytime he plays outside of Duke, and he has seemed to handle it well. I think he is mentally tough...

HIGHLANDER THANKS FOR THE INFO...BUT THERE IS NO WAY hassan adams should go #5........he should be a second rounder at best....he cannot shoot to save his life and he is an undersized player for just being an athlete who can run and dunk...he hasn`t improved much in his outside shot in 4 years...defensive specialist off the bench is his upside...if he wants to stay in the nba very long!!!

Is josh mcroberts coming out already? stay in school and develop some more...otherwise will be sitting on the bench like Wilcox (chris)!

Yeah I `ve had it with poor shooting...who knows if kenny smith caan play the point...i bet reddick could for us...i mean at least he wouldn`t just dribble it off his foot like RA, WHO just plays like he is high...or has major A.D.D.! RA is so careless when there is no pressure on him at all, he will lose a rebound, or turn it over, unforced by the defense!!

i THINK rEDDICK IS A GOOD PASSER, and he will pass much more when he has a yao and tmac...i really think he is the best guy for our team...jvg eiter needs t recognize that a good offense helps your defense by having the other team take the ball out of the net!!! Or jvg needs to retire to broadcasting...where he is better suited!!

are you serious? do you even watch rockets games? no rafer isn't a great shooter but to say he doesn't handle well, turns the ball over a lot and is careless is ridiculous. he averages 2.4 turnovers in 38 minutes of action. he's currently 15th in the league in assist to turnover ratio at 2.8.

i'm not trying to say that he's a GREAT pg but he's a whole hell of a lot better than you are making him out to be. and he is a better PG than reddick will be. if you don't like rafer's handle against pressure you won't want to see JJ try to be a press with his handle and quickness.

We'll end up in the 6-10 range, so Brandon Roy (6-6 SG) and Joakim Noah (6-11 PF) are my favorites right now.

ra is better than we had before...but we haven`t had a pg before! HE DOES RUN THE BALL UPCOURT, BUT HE SCREWS UP ON THE EASY PART...HE CAN`T GUARD AT ALL...AND I THINK EFFORT IS PART OF THE EQUATION...HE IS NOT A HIGH MOTOR PLAYER, OR SELF -STARTER...NUMBER 15 IS NOTHING TO BE PROUD ABOUT WITH HIS TERRIBLE SHOOTING, AND LACK OF DEFENSE!

I seriously doubt we'll be in the 6-10 range. More like 10-14. We're on a losing streak right now, but it's against all playoff-bound teams, and a couple that have had our number in recent years before Mcgrady (Spurs, Mavs). Once we get past this part of our schedule, I think we'll start playing .500 ball. Which isn't nearly bad enough to sink us past all of these teams.

Well to be fair, Gonzaga has no one who is remotely decent outside of Batista who's just their only post presence. If you watched Gonzaga games, you'll notice that he had to hog the ball in order to win games. There simply isn't the talent around him that would allow him to relax and let others carry some of the burden.

why don't we just tank the season and loose em all

we would be somewhere between 5 and 8 easy

    does it matter anymore....

just get us a good pick JVG, do not mess this up...

but your argument for bringing in JJ over RA isn't going to improve our PG defense, ball handling, quickness, or passing. yeah, JJ can shoot and our scoring at the PG would improve, but JJ would probably be worse defensively and would obviously be a downgrade in ball handling, passing, and quickness.

JJ isn't going to be a starting PG in the nba. he's going to be an undersized SG, who may or may not start depending on the cast around him.

gonzaga has good players around adam morrison, and are the type of players that fit the system that mark few runs at gonzaga. they like to normally run a flex offense, utilizing the high post setting up backdoor cuts and players coming off of screens for open jumpers. morrison actually hinders what gonzaga likes to do. he hijacks the offense so he can throw up a ton of shots and score a lot of points, at the expense of what the offense is designed to do.

and during the indiana game morrison was awful, his teammates did in fact pick him up in order to win. he went 5-17 from the floor, scoring 14 points. there were 5 other players for gonzaga that scored in double figures in that win. so i would say that they do in fact have other guys who can play on that team.
