Tyreke didn't exactly lead his team anywhere and he undeniably has more talent around him. Last time I checked the Kings are still terrible. I'm not advocating that Henderson is a building block, but I think he's being sold a little short here. I also think Tyreke has become vastly overrated. Both players are still very young. Ask me again in 2-3 years how Henderson would fit into the Rockets rotation provided we make no major moves at the position.

Actually its like being the best player on the worst team in the history of basketball

Tyreke > Henderson ... put him on that team with no need to share the ball ...be realistic

Henderson wouldn't even get much playing time here...

    Martin > Offensively
    Lee > Defensively

After today's Wizards-Hornets trade, the Wizards are Center heavy and in dire need of outside shooting and scoring so I can see Morey giving them a call and seeing what he can get for Martin...

    Martin, Morris and #14 pick

    for

    Blatche, Vessley and #3 pick.

    We'd obviously cut/amnesty Blatche.

Can't amnesty Blatche. And we wouldn't cut him. We'd try to rehab him.

Interesting trade if other stuff fell through.

Hope to god and pray he changes even in the slightest bit. If not tell him to stay home or send him to the NBDL lol.

Gerald Henderson isn't that great, but I think he's better than Lee and would probably start over Lee. Not that much better though. By the way, I like the Blatche and 3 pick for Martin

Because that's what you have to take back if you want the #3 pick.

Actually, as it is, Tyreke takes more shots per game than Henderson does. Replace Tyreke with Henderson and the Kings would still be better than the Bobcats. The Bobcats would still have the worst record in the league. Either way we are comparing two terrible teams. Keep that in mind. By the way, if a player was given a ton of shots which in turn inflated his scoring numbers(Jeremy Lin) you would have an argument. However Henderson was very efficient from the field. It isn't as if he took an overwhelming amount of shots to begin with, yet produced similar numbers to Tyreke while providing better defense. Doesn't anyone use facts anymore?

Would the Pistons do a swap of Blatche for Gordon?

Yes, the Pistons are bad and so is Gordon's contract but it's about the same as Blatches and has less years (2 yrs). He's also a very efficient shooter.

To kinda piggyback and combine idea's here - Something I posted in the latest Gasol thread -

I dont want Gasol but would get involved as a facilitator between the Lakers and another team , we'll use the Wizards as an example , with the goal of netting an early lotto pick in return.

    Lakers get Scola and 16
    Washington gets Gasol , 14
    Houston gets Okafor and #3.

LA sheds salary and gains a mid round pick
Washington ends up with a very solid front line of Nene and Gasol to pair with their young PG Wall.

Might have to add other assets to satisfy everyone or take on another contract but thats the price you pay for the #3 pick.

The Kings say HELL NO. They give up Evans AND #5 essentially for Lowry.

Everyone else in this trade wins. If they wanted to get Lowry, they could just offer up the #5 or Evans as a 1 for 1 trade.

Then use the other as bait to get more talent.

Don't even say Scola or Henderson is anything more than a filler in that trade.
