i know its a little far away but this is what i think will happen , the spurs knowing that duncan will not resign with them... do a sign and trade deal with us looking like this:
    houston gets:
    tim duncan
    antonio daniels

    san antonio gets:
    draft picks
    cuttino mobley (sign and trade)
    kenny thomas

Why would the Spurs trade Tim Duncan within their own conference, muchless their own DIVISION? Tim Duncan is probably better than any player coming out in the draft this year. Whoever owns the first pick would trade it for him in a heartbeat.

Sorry to burst your bubble guys, but San Antonio isn't going to trade Duncan. They are going to do everything under the sun to keep him in San Antonio. The only way he is going anywhere is if another superstar or package of very good NBA players makes it public that they actually want to play in San Antonio.

What are the chances of that happening?

I'll bet on hell freezing over first.
