Joe Johnson - we can continue with a 3 guard lineup since this guy is essentially a guard at the 3. His point forward playmaking will allow Stevie Franchise to be Allen Iverson when he wants to. His three point shooting will reward Stevie and Cat with assists when they penetrate.

Jason Collins - not popular or exciting, but the only type of player the Rockets coaching staff consistently says we need is big guys who can shoot. This is the only true center who can hit the 3 pointer, and those guys are rare.

    oeilpere,

I've got Battier going 5th to Golden State. What spot do you think he won't fall past?

Personally, I think the best "first tier" player in this draft we have a chance at getting is Rodney White. I could easily see him drop to the 7th spot, and we could probably put together a deal the Nets would like.

If we were to move up, you can put me on the White bandwagon.

I would say the players most likely to slip are Chandler and Richardson. IMO, either of those guys could fall all the way to Boston, which in turn would knock another good player our way.

Sorry to say this, but Battier is not going to be as great as everyone says. He had a great college career and is a good guy, but he is overrated. Dick vitale needs to get off his jock and keep his mouth shut. He said something like battier will be the most effective and successful player coming out of the draft on espn. Does that mean he thinks battier will be ROY. I doubt it. Battier hasn't reached his peak, but don't be surprised if kwame brown, eddie griffin, or eddy curry go off next season.
Anyway, i'll be mad if they draft murphy and especially jefferson.
It will be really good if they get joe johnson or move up for rodney white
