Did Eddie Griffin get injured in one of the past games, because he should not have missed this game.

Thanks DOD. I am looking forward to your wrap-up which I hope would include your projected 15 man roster and, if I dare add, what you consider the real team's top five bread and butter plays should be. Once again, many thanks.

In my last write-up for the game on Saturday, I neglected to mention Kyle Hill's performance. Duh.

Kyle scored at least 12 points and I think took about 4 or 5 3's and I only remember him missing one. He has a good jumpshot and can stick the open jumper (at least in the SPL... hehe). They gave more time to Tito during the SPL, but in all honesty Kyle did as well or better in the minutes he got, at least offensively. Kyle was more a jumpshooter than a PG, although Tito, Kyle, and Tierre shared the PG duties. Anyway, sorry to the Kyle Hill fans. :D

Expect a re-cap sometime tonight or tomorrow...

Thanks again to Clutch for a great site that allows me to share the info.

Unfortunately, I don't believe I'll be able to post the video caps I took due to AT&T apparently blocking me from allowing uploads using Grokster.

At least that's what I believe is happening. If I get it working, I'll let you know. Bummer... had about 100 short vids. :(

    Anyway, GO ROCKETS!! :D

You can place them on the server. You have like so much transfer use saved up by now on the server, its redickulus. Do you want to make use of your FTP account finally.

    email if you do.

Thanks heypartner & DOD especially for trying your hardest to provide us with some Summer League footage. Hopefully that server tip works cause I would like to see Jason "the Real Deal" Collier dominate. His trade value must have doubled in the last few weeks in my humble opinion.

a very informative post. . . I'm suprised by your assessment of Collier. . .and MacCullough with NJ who plays about 15 minutes at the beginning of most games. . . . .He looks awkward. . .and out of condition. . .maybe Collier could play his game. . . .I keep thinking. . .that Cato will start. . . .Ming gradually increasing his minutes . . and Collier handy for emergencies. . .

Man, why didn't I find out this site earlier! This is the best sports forum I've ever seen. You guys are informed and informative.

I have been a long time Rockets fan. Now I am living in LA. I tried the LA Times sports forum and all they had were a bunch of rude dudes. I mean, I don't mind sports fans being biased. They are supposed to be biased. But these people just didn't understand basketball a bit other than blindly cheering for the Lakers and snubbing other teams.

I was trying to say something about Shaq's offensive fouls. All I got was a bunch of insults and flaming. They treated me like I was an idiot and even asked me if I'd ever played any basketball. I quit and never looked back after less than 30 min.

It's so refreshing to see posts by people who not only love their team but also do some informed basketball discussions.

OK that post needs its own thread. Take some liberties DoD or are you trying to set the record for most page views in a Rockets Forum thread...!!!

Naa, I don't care about views... hell I don't even start threads. lol.

I didn't want a bajillion SPL threads in the forum and nobody knowing which was the most recent. I'll go ahead and delete the above and copy it to its own thread as the BBS Janitor wishes... :)

Just thought I'd do a windandsea and present some hard to get-facts from an exotic country (Sweden). :)

Fred Jonzen, on the Rockets summer roster yesterday scored 7 points in a loss to Turkey. The swedish team only managed 54 points with Oluoma Nnamaka (of Marquette) scoring 11 points - a team high. In a related article Fred said that he thought only two or three guys would make the regular season roster from the summer team, himself unlikely to be one of them.:( I don't think this information is a huge surprise to anybody however.

Hopefully he'll get another chance next year. He also said he already had some pretty good offers from european teams.

Unfortunately, I think that was it for me as far as windandsea-impersonations go, as I said if Fred comes back - maybe next summer.
