I am glad to see that the Rockets DUMBB ASSS asst. coaches were up to their same decisions as last year. Who cares if Griffin gets a couple of fouls, YOU CANNOT FOUL OUT OF SUMMER LEAGUE, so why do these idiots keep yanking him.

Do you remember what happen last year? Griffin's first action as a Houston Rocket. Game starts and he gets two quick stupid fouls in the first 5-6 minutes (not all his faught), and what do the asst coaches do? They benched him until the 3rd period. IDIOTS.

    Thanks DR.

I am very sorry for Collier. I believe his confidence is shot. At this level, he should be putting up serious numbers. He has more talent than his output is showing. I guess he is lucky he has a guaranteed contract.

As far as I am concerned Torres should not be under any pressure to do well or else.

The biggest problem with tonight's game is the schedule. Less that 24 hours earlier the team played. So I am not worried with the result.

    Did you see Clutch?

You guys really crack me up. A loss and the world is coming to an end. Eddie Griffin should not even be playing summer ball. He does not have to and forget about this lack of bulk nonsense, Eddie is in fact one of our go to guys, if you have not noticed. He is no smaller than Gasol and I believe that the progress he is making is great. He is moving more, showing an even greater variety of shots and most importantly, his confidence is real high. His numbers in this league are off the charts.

There is nothing in tonight's game to suggest that we are in for another long season. Are you forgeting that eight or nine members of the team's rotation is not playing in this game? How does one draw such a conclusion about the upcoming season based on this game, which was played less that 24 hours after another game?

After the draft,I had mentioned that we need an enforcer type but those types of players will be hard to get.

The sad thing is I believe Clutch was sitting on the row right behind me. I saw a guy that looked just like Clutch, except I didn't think Clutch had a beard/goatee and this guy did I think. I was going to make it a point after the game to ask him if he was a Rockets fan, and casually mention CC.net to see what he'd say, but I completely forgot to and just left the building. I was pissed. :(

Hey Clutch, if you're reading this, during the Lakers game, were you sitting courtside near the goal and next to the tunnels where the Lakers came out of before the game? If so, did you see a guy on the row in front of you fumbling with his digital camera, wearing a blue Rockets cap? :D

Out of the goodness of his heart, the strange one named rockHEAD has offered me space on his domain to host some pics that I've taken. I've ALMOST got this thing set up to work fine in that blasted stadium without having to use a flash. :) Many, many thanks rockHEAD; I appreciate it.

Clutch, I didn't know if you had any problems with bandwidth, so if you want to take any of these pics and put them up on CC.net, be my guest. If you do, let me know, and I'll tell rockHEAD to delete the files off his server and I can also delete the links from this thread.

There are only 7 pics up there at the moment. The Lakers' game pics are pretty grainy because I was trying to brighten the pics, but I used an ISO setting on the camera I shouldn't have. Uh, wups. But they're still viewable, so I included them. I hope to have all the problems fixed within a game or so. Sorry. :)

    Here they are :

    1. Maurice Taylor smiles for CC.net

    2. Rockets gather during the pre-game intros (no, the lights did not go out - Doc is having camera problems)

    3. A pic of some of the Rockets during a timeout

    4. This one is a candidate for rockHEAD's caption contest.

    5. Has Collier lost weight? Has Eddie gained weight? You decide.

    6. Eddie attempting a free throw

    7. TMo sets a pick; Tierre explodes around it...

Nice pictures DoD. You're doing a fantastic job.
Eddie looks a little more muscular and might have put around 5 more pounds.
    Collier has lost some weight.
Mo-T still needs to lose a lot more weight to get back into playing shape.
The T-Mo and Tierre picture is really cool.

Dr of Dunk, if you were to guess right now, which one of the two point guards if any do you think will make the roster. I personally am hoping tierre will be on the team next year.

Nice pics, Doc, though some are nicer than others, ;) I guess you used flash light for the first three pics. Is it the reason why they look a little dark? I heard people said that never use a flash light to take pictures when objects are a little far away.

Can you tell I'm not a photographer? ;)

The first few pics look good, albeit a bit dark, because I took them somewhat close and I used a flash. I see people sitting up about 60 and 70 feet in the stands using a flash... I never could figure that out. Do they think they have floodlights that they're going to light up players 70 feet away with their tiny flashes? lol.

Anyway, the one setting I never messed with was the ISO setting. The grainy pictures use no flash whatsoever, but they're bright as hell because I used ISO 800 (lol) and a slow shutter speed (1/60). I think within the next 2 games, I'll have everything set up to where the pics will look fine...

If nothing else, I'll hopefully learn something about this whole photography thing on this trip. :)

If you're talking about Tito vs. Tierre, there's no doubt based upon their performances in this summer league that Tierre would be the one to make the team. It's not even close.

I've always was impressed by Brown's play, if he can keep it up, then I think we have a real find as a 3rd string point guard...btw, Thank you DoD for doing the doo...

What's up with these summer league jerseys??? I think the Rockets jersey looks cool. The Lakers jersyes look like crap. I wonder what the other teams jersyes look like and how they originated? Maybe these summer league jerseys will be similar to our new jerseys.

Actually, i think I saw you guys sitting there behind RudyT at the

PHO-HOU game. I was there with my wife, sitting directly to the

left of you guys. DoD- did you have your kids there too? If I'm

right , I was sitting right across from them behind the guy with

the Olajuwon shirt #34 who turned out to be Big E.

Ended up that night getting Griffin's autograph. Actually my wife

did, on his old 2000 Roman Catholic High School Yearbook that I

had. She actually got MoT, Amare S., Tito Maddox, Jerry West,

Casey Jacobsen, Joe Johnson's as well.
