First off, I didn't create the thread. Second, I'm betting most of you guys defending Grady on this particular issue either didn't watch tonight's game at all or weren't paying attention to the sidelines going in and out of commercials. This wasn't a case of him not being a cheerleader -- the guy was simply not a member of the team that won tonight's game. Mutombo, on the other hand, was very much a part of tonight's win, despite the DNP.
Or, he's bummed that he's not playing well (whatever the reason) and that he's not out there helping the team win. See, we all can be amateur psychologists.
Haha, i just noticed a funny trend on here. The people that defend tmac and do not want him traded are usually people with some form of his name in their username. They are worried about having to create new accounts and become rookies once tmac gets traded. But back to original thread, T-Mac looked grumpy, and my best guess is that he is pissed the team was giving Boston all it could handle without him
If Grady is indeed the Rox best player, then the Rox are really in trouble. Grady can hardly make an NBDL squad at this point in his career. And don't tell me you think he's the best player because of what he did in the past. It's like saying Shaq is still the best center because of what he did in the past. All the Grady Luvers have to start living in the present.
Artest said this in the post game press conf "We sometimes forget that hard work is more important than talent. Last year, Boston had hard work and they had talent. That’s why they ran through everybody. I think we’re just as talented, but we have to work hard. Sometimes we think Yao is just going to bail us out all the time, or me or Tracy are going to bail us out. Sometimes Tracy thinks his talent is going to take him. He can just cruise his way. But we got to work hard. Tonight, we worked hard." he called out Tracy?!
this thread is classic example of reading too much into nothing... like i said, once we start winning and playing well, all these little chemistry problems (if there are really any) will go away. People get frustrated when they lose. all natural.
way to go and try to put words in my mouth. And in regards in what you said about KG: yeah he didnt win anything in minnesota save for that on year but he always into games from the sidelines or on the court...people will say he is a douche and all for his fake 'tough guy' act but no one ever questions his desire to play the game listen like i said in my post i dont think this team will go anywhere without mcgrady but the way things are right now the team is going to further without him than with him. i am not asking him to put on a skirt and hold pom poms out there but have some interest in your team and teammates you are supposed to be the best player and leader on the team. (note: i saw the boston feed on LP and didnt see him and yao briefly at the end I saw the players in a huddle and i saw him on his way to the locker room while everyone was still high fiving) I also find it funny that many of you are criticizing my "fandom" because I am upset at how our star player is behaving in arguably the best win of the season. Yeah I enjoyed the win but its still ONE w in the column it doesnt count for anymore than ONE w because it was boston on the road. And while the victory was much needed tmac's visible friction with his teammates is a much larger concern for me and the rest of the rockets season
Sounds like it, doesn't it? I always said Ron Ron was going to take up a leadership role on the Rockets.
There is definitely something going on. He looked like he was sulking over something. But I wouldn't say I am disgusted because he doesn't surprise me anymore ... I rather focus on the rest of the guys that made me proud to be a Rockets fan tonight. Their energy can be contagious and hopefully with a couple of more games Tracy will not want to be left behind and join them.
