But that would make it more of a dramatic and clutch story now wouldn't it? Here's to hoping we lose the next game and coming back to win the next four!

(May 13, 1994) Down by 12 points at halftime in Game 3 of the 1994 Western Conference Semifinals, Vernon Maxwell turned the Rockets into road warriors. After losing the first two games of the series to the Suns at home, Maxwell made sure Houston wouldn't go down 0-3 in Phoenix by scoring 31 second-half points to lead the Rockets to a 118-102 win. "We are back," Rockets Head Coach Rudy Tomjanovich said. "Phoenix still has home-court advantage, but the pressure is on them now. And it's a lot different playing when you're under pressure."

Damn, Rudy T had some balls. But this difference between that series and this is that the Rockets had big leads that they blew. We struggle just to get a lead for more than 30 seconds.

boston red sox did it

but basketball isn't baseball so yea, that would be really pushing it.

we must win game 3 to put some thinking into their minds.

again, if we play our best game in game 3 (which we haven't), that woudl boost the confidence and morale of this team and we could go off.

I tip my hat to this group. They fighting shorthanded and still make it close. There was never a moment of doubt that they put in 100%. But the problem is that they don't have the talent to match the jazz roster. And there is no shame of that. Any given guy on that roster can score and clicking at both ends even the bench. It's just not enough to overcome lack of talent. But maybe Rafer'll be on fire and become our savior.

It seems the suns will be 0-2 too, and I don't think they will give up. We shouldn't give up either.

None of the 22 games were in Utah or against the Jazz anywhere.

But, we did win a game in Utah this season!

Now, the rockets, the suns, the mavs, the raptors, the wizards are all 0-2. I believe at least one of them will win a series. Maybe, it is the rockets!

Actually, Yao was in foul trouble, and he didn't play many minutes.

We won that one is because of Tmac and James.

I hope someone can step up (like James) to shoot the ball well.

p.s. sadly, James > Head in playoffs. Hopefully, Head can prove himself in Utah. That will be his last chance.

We had Olajuwon back in the days, remember? One of the best players by all-time and in 95 we had Drexler too so don't compare this position with the one we had against all those teams back in the days. Olajuwon is gone, The Dream is gone and so is the STEAM!

I like your optimism, but we don't have Olajuwon.

the moral of the story was that the role players turned themselves forever into legends with legendary performances.

who will step up? Shane? Rafer?

who will be Maxwell part deux? who will drop 31 points in the second half and curse out the entire Jazz or Phoenix team?
