He has always been a great defender, it's when he's forced to pretend to be a point guard that he tends to make the dumbest decisions which he used to make up for with his shooting in his rookie season but then lost it after his shoulder surgery
Im rooting for him! He played GREAT D tonight and his decision making wasn't all that bad. Today he stepped up and found other ways to be productive. I just wish the rim didn't hate him so much

Last time i checked Lillard had 20 points tons of assists and torched you're in to ice the game.

 

You can see his effort is there (i.e. today's defense), but he's not a good enough of a distributor to be of use on the offensive end if his shot isn't falling. Unfortunately his shot has been ugly for a while now. I'm starting to get concerned that his confidence is shot to hell.

It'd be great if we had someone to back him up so that he could get some time in D-league to sort it out. Unfortunately our backup to our backup has the opposite problems.

For argument sake say he did a ok job, it's the end result that matters. Lillard killed him in the end. just torchehed. it wasnt just the 3's. he killed inn a backdoor cut with matthews. this is what you lof's dont get. If someone mentions these things ya all get pissed.

I remember Ryan Bowen hustled and had surges where he played lockdown D. Until TD improves significantly, I worry every time he's in the game.
