The suspension actually helps LA because Fisher sucks.

Didn't you hear that the state prisons are now using Doug Collins commentating as an option for the death penalty. I think I would take what's behind door #3 before going that route. He was all over the Lakers cornhole all night, you would think he was the whole team's agent.

    Dear stupid TNT broadcast crew,

Toughness is having your knee obliterated and demanding to come back into the game to lead your team to victory.

Deliberately throwing your elbow into someone's collarbone who is setting a pick is cowardly and stupid.

Anybody else chuckle at the irony over the TNT pre-game interview where he talked about "real" toughness? Especially the timing of it since they showed it in the post game show and not earlier in the game, lol.

Oh and Doug Collins was majorly getting on my nerves with his unhealthy Kobe/Fakers obsession. Get off his jock and show some professionalism, Doug.

man it'd be nice if someone had a sign at game 3 that says something like, "seriously fisher? i thought you were better than that"

however, i can see how if you're a player on that team, you want to stick up for your teammates. but it's not like a flagrant foul was committed on the other end. it was just talking...

    so that's just ridiculous.

it's not even about the lakers or not the lakers...deron williams and even chris paul have done similar things, and it's just ridiculous. i don't know how this stuff is tolerated. it just leads to confrontation and ...entertainment, maybe...but maybe something worse.

collins was dead wrong, though i could see where he came from when i heard him say that.

fisher in my observation has a history of being a dirty and shrewed player. lethal combination if you ask me. no wonder phil jackson is high on him.

the guy almost broke eddie griffin's neck way back when in a loose ball situation; pushed barry to the cameraman on purpose just in game 1; and tonight.

many counts of dirty, cheap shots. but the guy speaks well in public. (that's why it's so sad each time a nice guy such as mcgrady opens his mouth, btw.)

Let see how tough can collins be when someone inadvertently kick him in the groin. Biased douche bag.

What Fisher did wasn't tough -- it was really just a garden-variety punkass cheap-shot. But it was SMART. He saw that the Rockets were hanging in there again and refusing to play the role of the team that should be happy to win a single game against the glorious Lakers. So he decided to manufacture a little crowd emotion and make sure his team didn't get another embarassing home thumping by a Rockets team that was supposed to be a speed bump on the road to the championship and not a brick wall.

Kudos to D-Fish for making the right move at the right time.

I also have to applaud Phil Jackson's inspired substitution -- sending Joey Crawford in to take Fisher's place after the ejection was nothing short of brilliant. Joey teamed with Kobe to bring seal a hard-fought victory.
