    You're right, but we don't know if Azub is going to be on the roster or just a body for training camp. If he is not on the roster, then maybe we could look in to Christie taking his spot; still leaving us a spot for the PF/C.

    That was the funniest press release I have ever read in my life. The abysmal grammar put it over the top.

    Even if his wife gave him permission to play, I wouldn't want Christie.

    Unless, of course, she lets him play for the minimum.

    ugh no!

    when is MJ coming out of retirement again?

    Other than him, I want us signing no more guards.

    it's sad when the day comes that the woman controls the man. unless it was in the bedroom i wouldn't enjoy that kind of relationship. as for doug christie's chance, why not try and see what hes got left? besides our superstars we have battier and alston as depth. jho and deke are and should be only back ups. we could use the depth anyways, its not like our team would suffer that much from the field. just pass to yao/tmac/battier and let the rest of the role players do their jobs.

    I say we try model our team after the Lakers Dynasty when they had Ron Harper running the point. He was old and creaky, but he did the job and contributed for them. Heck I bet Doug Christie has more legs in him now than Ron Harper did back when played for the lakers.

    Yao=SHaq

    Tmac=kobe

    rick fox=shane battier

    Ron harper=Doug Christie

    Derek Fisher=Luther Head

    and so on.... :cool: :D

    Ron Harper=Doug Christie!? Lol!

    If Ron Harper see it, he cant be happy. Doug Christie is the greatest choke artist in NBA. Doug is greater than John Starks. Otherwise, the Kings should win a championship.

    Christie would be nice for any team. If he can play anything like he used to, he is can contribute in a good number of ways- assists, steals, 3 pointers, rebounds, and defense. He WAS the ultimate role player before Shane battier, and role players are what the Rox need.

    Sign Him!!! :D WIth him on the team, we got two dominant superstars, the league's TWO BEST role players, and a decent pg- seriously what else could you ask for? There can only be 5 guys on the floor at the same time.

    I really can't see any good reasons against signing him. Doug's known as Bruce Bowen's predecessor for his defense. Just imagine with the lineup of Christie, TMac, Battier, and Yao... How do you get down the court with turning the ball over five times? :D Ok maybe that was an exaggeration but the article did say that he's in peak shape and conditioning from months of working out. He can start at shooting guard and he and Battier can take turns guarding the opponent's best perimeter player, letting Tmac chill on the defensive before torching the opposing team on the other end. Doug is the type of experienced veteran player a Championship team needs, and he will solve the Rox's 2 guard and backup PG need.

    It would be ok if she were hot. But she is so...........not hot. I think that is why she is insecure ( or was when he played). She did not want him to look at the hot girls in the stands, at the cheer leaders etc, etc. If you are psycho-jealous like that--being totally hot can help make that tolerable.....perfect face, body, hair............

    Not yet, but if Snyder is going to flake out, Sura not being able to give us anything, and Abuz not being a pleasant surprise, they we might get this desperate for another big guard, and I'd give Diane Christie a try.

    Do we have something against adding youth or filling a need. I always see some suggestion of adding a player who needs WD40 on this knees. I thought the last spot would be dedicated to a PF/C.
