I'm gonna take a month long break from posting here. Even I'm sick of seeing my posts!

 

If I may: it's still too early to start planning that victory parade just yet. The Rockets more or less rolled through last season also and we all know how that ended. As I did last season (and the season before that and the season before that) I'm taking a wait-and-see approach because the true test of this team and MDA's system will come during the playoffs. There are a number of questions that still remain to be answered about the viability of their approach. Time will tell and what looks good in November and December can have a whole different look come April.

 

Is there any appology thread for those posters who said this is an easy win?

Nobody is planning a victory parade. That’s what is ridiculous about the haters. The dumb narrative, “the Rockets are good, but they aren’t good enough to beat Golden State four out of seven, not good enough to beat Cleveland or Boston, and are not even good enough to beat The Spurs”.

We as fans know it needs to be decided on the court. That is how it’s supposed to be done.

But this crap that we are a delusional fan base is ludicrous.

If their hate was based on analitics it’s one thing, but it isn’t. It goes back to Harden and Paul’s past playoff performances. It goes back to MDA never winning. It becomes a jumbled up mess of blah blah blah, and finished by “not better than Golden State”.

 

Oh and, it’s all about, they have to prove it to me!!! Like they have been cheated upon.

I know Barkley(the supposed millions owed to him by Leslie Alexander) and Kenney Smith (being passed up for the coaching gig), are operating like scorned ex-lovers; I get their hate! Skip Bayless is an unprofessional Spurs fan who’s open about his dislike for the Rockets. The New York media is sour about Hakeem’s Rockets besting Patrick Ewing. Which proves bias behavior.

There is general bias in the National Sports media personnel. And is it decided by higher ups in the league or by the media execs? They better watch out, because that is an abuse of power. And someday the cards might all come falling down.
