    So, where do you stand on gun control? :) Obviously some people feel that the bill of rights is not so untouchable.

    For murder, rape, etc, I'm all for changing it to 2 times.

    I don't think the forefathers anticipated forensic evidence such as DNA, etc. Or even photos (ever hear of the evil f*** who tortured his ex-girlfriend to death and the folks who bought his home found photos under the floor? He could not be re-tried).

    Say a person is acquitted of a murder, but later evidence is found proving that person did commit the crime. Can they be indicted on a different charge stemming from the same crime?

    For example, there were numerous cases in the south in the 60's where white men were acquitted of crimes against blacks but were brought up on federal charges - things like violation of civil rights, etc - and found guilty. Is that still an option?

    Also, I assume that civil trials can proceed even when criminal trials fail?
