I really don't understand McHale's philosophy on this. The thing is, if we do start doubling him, it will be too late.
I don't understand how this is even a question. He is playing better than anyone on the court, put two men on him. Make the others beat us.
The problem is, this team is not fundamentally sound defensively to know how to rotate from a double.
YESSSS LIKE REALLY THIS IS THE PLAYOFFS THIS IS NOT JUST A REGULAR SEASON GAME. SHAQ gets double in the playoffs, duncan gets double, dirk gets double EVEN Hakeem for crying out loud so WTF is mchale doing? does he really want to get fired soon? like really with the owner is watching the game on the sideline. don'y you think he is upset that alrdige is killing us by himself......
deserves its own thread. why isn't mchale doing anything? give superstars different looks on defense. sometimes 1-1, sometimes double, sometimes just dig. sometimes the double comes from the strong-side, sometimes the weak side. sometimes you switch... he says lma shooting it before we get there and we're trying to double... seriously?! there is no such thing as we are trying to double and cant! ive never heard this in basketball ever!
