I am not basing my thoughts on last nights game alone, I just think he is the odd man out in a position of strength.

Juan, you brought up an interesting point....Dorsey is unique in his speed and athleticism and it should help Yao a lot in practice....

That may keep him around all year...alone.

Dorsey is a unique bench player in this roster in terms of physical skill. IMHO, He has quite a good chance to break into rotation.

Maybe it's just a bad night for Dorsey yesterday. So let's wait until regular season starts.

what you saw from dorsey last night was his game, a hustler who grabs rebounds. he's not going to give you buckets other than the occasional ally oop. he's a lot like hayes except stronger and more athletic.

I think a lot will depend on whether Deke decides to come back or not. Doesn't seem like Dorsey is going to get any type of significant minutes (not just based on lastnight but based on his skillset in general) but he has legit size that we don't really have outside of Yao.

If I had to choose between Dorsey and Deke I would choose Deke because of his defense and experience for this year.

If I had to choose between Dorsey and Harris I would choose Dorsey because his size is better suited for a weaker area on the team.

    Oh, no no no....
he's gonna be a rocket man, rocket man backing up Yaoming all the season long. We need a strong guy urgently in the paint to help yao a lilttle bit in defence. Honestly, our low position roster are pretty good overall but they all seems a little bit soft or undersized. Yao and scola are soft, hayes is coarse, landry undersized and lacking in blocking ability. Deke is old. Dorsey is just a guy we can rely on in making our paint a little bit more concret than it was last season. Plus, dorsey will be an insurance in case that yao is down again and that's likely to happen.

Morey will never send dorsey to NBDL or anywhere else until he gets another center who can take yao's stake when he's down.

I doubt it. If we had Mutumbo, sure. But without Mutumbo, I doubt they'll send Dorsey anywhere.
