Is the D-League that bad? This guy can't get any PT in the NBA but he's putting up Dwight Howard numbers in the D-League.

Well the D-League is for players who can't get any PT in the NBA.

The article may be a little confusing. It's an award for a 2 game performance, not the season.
The NBDL showcase is where both teams play road games in Boise, Idaho.

The Vipers played 1 game each against Albuquerque and Bakersfield Jam.
The numbers are skewed due to a 1 game explosion against the Bakersfield Jam.

I took at look at the NBDL standings and it shows that the Bakersfield Jam has the 2nd worst record in the league. They have only 3 wins for the whole season. They are the New Jersey Nets of the NBDL.

Don't read too much into Dorsey's numbers against the 2nd worst team in the NBDL.

Joey Dorsey = a career D-leaguer. Well actually stuck in between. Not good enough for the big leagues but "too good" in the developmental leagues.

Sounds like a decent insurance policy if we have an injury in the front court.

    ;)

Doesn't really mean much, only he might get a call up.

If only he knew how to control his fouls.
