Insurance....Hayes is foul prone, after him our only bigs left on the bench are Cook and Landry. In case one of them gets into serious foul trouble early, fouls out, gets hurt, or Hayes is already out and Cook is getting dominated on the block by Gasol then and only then will we see Joey.
He's going to be asked to do what he did in college. Run run run, and be defensively disruptive. 6 hard fouls and 2 monster alley-oops please.
Dude, if Gasol gets hot early, I'd absolutely put Dorsey in there to give him hell. Not to hack him, but to be very aggressive on him. Tell him it's 10 mins to convince the staff he can be a beast next year. Gasol backs down when facing physical defenders.
I posted he will be ready if chuck gets in foul troubleon the lakers board...they are nervous now...lol
just because he is going to be in uniform doesn't mean he is going to play. I mean come on the man barely played any games this year. This game really matters. Would you really put a rookie in to help seal our fate. Expect Scola, Landry, and Hayes to see bulks of the mins at the PF/C position.
They should bring Joey in all wrapped up like Steve Buscemi in CONAIR while being escorted by Jack Sickma and Elston Turner with cattle prods. Set him next to the bench and when Rick can call hime in they can unleash him on the Lakers. or Ron Artest can carry Joey Dorsey in on his back like Ace Ventura 2. He can set Dorsy in the middle of the court before tip-off and Ron while undo the bag and run back to the bench.
If Dorsey gets on the floor, he has two jobs: 1. Choke slam anyone in a Laker jersey (preferably Kobe or Gasol) 2. Tea bag the slamee on their chin on national TV
no wonder there's so many knee jerk reactions and repetitive threads...posters don't read the original message...
