    Quit sending that Minnesota crap down here! :D I hear it's going to be snowing anywhere from 7-15 degrees for a low down here in the DFW area. I had to look what's going on up North if that's going on down here. Good grief and good luck! :eek:

    It's 27 F here. There are people in shorts outside. Literally.

    The forecast doesn't look promising. In a couple of days will be wishing that it was 15 degrees.

    Meanwhile, in Oregon and NorCal, we've had stagnant air with record-low humidity levels for a couple of weeks with no end in sight. It's melting snow at the higher levels and is close to wiping out all the water gains from the October and December storms/rains. Drought is a way of life in the West now, punctuated by the occasional rainy month that makes little long-term difference. I suppose the spring rains might come, but right now we're looking at another rough fire year that includes a good portion of Texas.

    Sierra Nevada snowpack is now well below normal after hitting 160% above average in late December.

    We'll get new data and new reports on 2/1 so this likely reflects conditions that are better than current.
