I've been asking for a trade for Donyell Marshall since we drafter Yao. Gotta pass on Rose though if it means losing JJ.

"The Heat could have a brand new look by New Year's. Still in discussions with the Mailman, the Heat aren't taking any risks. Miami is also in discussions to bring Alonzo Mourning to town. 'Zo isn't about to step foot over the border and is negotiating a buyout in Toronto.

It doesn't stop there. The Heat are also continuing discussions to trade Eddie Jones to the Raptors for Jalen Rose AND Donyell Marshall. We can't imagine all of this happening but if it does. look out. ..."

We need an athletic rebounder that can pass. The shots would be nice, but he will dish the ball out most of the time.

I'm not convinced DM is the answer.

Your assessment of the statistics are kinda off cause Rose also plays 8-9 minutes less than JJ; a definite significant factor to consider. Don't get me wrong, I would pick JJ over Rose anyday due to their salary differences (plus I like JJ's maturity now that he's older), but I think it's important to point that out.
