Start of the 4th, Kostas throwing the ball in at mid court but throws a turnover to...DMo?!?

lol, dude takes it from half court and takes it in for the dunk and the foul!

I don't know if its his national team or what, but DMo seems to be extremely mobile on defense. Oddly more so than JV

    ----------------

DMo posted up, but decided to nail a behind the back bounce pass for a layup!

What a couple Lithuania has for the next decade. They are destined to dominate FIBA tournaments.

Having Motiejunas and Valanciunas together is almost unfair

JV off the floor, DMo with back-to-back botched post up's. Looks like he rushed his shot.

    -------------------------
As an aside, am I wrong to say that Giannis is not really the focus of the Greek team?

Lol. Plenty of teams can put out better front lines than this. JV is at least an NBA starter. DMo hasn't done anything yet.

DMo's active feet leads to an easy putback

Valanciunas has evident NBA all-star potential. Motiejunas has same talent level. Once the Gasol brothers are done, you won't find many couples like that at FIBA game. Plus they complement each other very well.

I was careful to say "same potential" for that reason. If we talk about pure talent he is there.

The fact that he hasn't been played properly doesn't say anything about his talent level, it says something about the coach giving out minutes.

that's not a good argument. you can say that about every bench player in the NBA that they aren't good because they aren't given minutes by the coaches

I don't even know if JV is all-star material. There were many nights ppatt looked better than him.
