The best part about Greene and Dorsey is how they attack the basket a lot and are great rebounders.

LOL if you think he's going anywhere near the paint in the NBA at this point you're out of your mind. I used to go to SU so i watch all the games........if you thought TMAC settled for jumpers wait till you see this guy. He's a crap tim thomas right now and all he's gonna do at this point is stand outside and throw up 3's........and you already got steve novak for that.

One or two years away from being a solid/good contributor for the Rockets, if all goes well.

    Thanks, good find!

I really like his shooting form, very smooth. I'm looking forward to seeing him match up against other SFs in game action.

Thats because his shot selection at Syracuse consisted of only 3 pointers, something that can be fixed at the NBA level, and he will mature.

Settled for way too many 3's at Syracuse. But he's still young and a project, and hopefully he'll find his way out of this bad habit. I'll project that he'll be at 45-48% field goal percentage in a few years, driving a lot more.

No, it's a disinterested, unskilled, dispassionate excuse for a defender.

Wait, you're right. That is Batum.

    Some points to remember:

    1. He was a freshman

    2. On a very mediocre team

    3. On the Rox, it's very simple, they're gonna have him get out on the break with Brooks for those crazy dunks and then in the halfcourt, he is not allowed to take a 3 shot without being wide open enough to have his feet set. Adelman will work on him on that aspect of his game. He doesn't have to come in here and be the main cog. He can play off everybody else and use his athleticism and shooting skills.

The thing I like about him is the combination of athleticism, height, and shooting ability. No, he wasn't efficient in one year at Syracuse. But he should be able to come onto this team and earn himself 20-25 minutes per game by the end of the season if he simply does what Adelman asks him to do, which is, MOVE MOVE MOVE RUN RUN RUN CUT CUT CUT and then not take any contested long range jumpers. This kid should be able to run all day and run faaaaaast.

I doubt he plays much at all this season, very few 19 year olds do, and hardly ANY that are drafted at the end of the first round.

IMO, he goes to the Vipers for most of the year, unless there are injuries and he gets called up...he needs to play and work on his game before he is NBA ready.

The guy has talent but he is not anything like T-Mac or Durant right now. All he did last year was chuck up 3's every time he touched the ball. His ball handling and passing are suspect, so he'll need to improve dramatically to be a legit wing player. It's not like he's a defensive specialist either, so he's very one-dimensional right now. He was just as touted as Rudy Gay(another Baltimore product) out of high school, though, so we'll see if he hones his talents in the NBA.

7.6 3point attempts per game affected that.

    His "2 point %" is 50%.

Better shot selection is probably one thing that he needs to learn!
