Negative. Its not one loss, its a multitude of them. How many collapses have we had this year? How many have actually been good teams?

We've faltered here and there in the years past, but this seems to be a recurring theme this year. Play a weak team (yes there are weak teams in the league), build double digit lead, lose double digit lead late in fourth, lose game, say this is turning point, repeat.

This is embarassing. No knee jerk reaction here. Once or twice ok, no biggie. It happens. We've lost three times to the powerhouse that is Memphis. Twice to Indiana.

I just don't get it. We can hang with the Fakers when we're short handed. We beat Boston in Boston. Blew out the Cavs. Put a hurt on the j*zz, Nuggets, Blazers and dallass. Not those Knicks though.

Its really ridiculoous when you think about it. You lose some of these games, thats true. If you just win them more than you lose, we're looking at 5 or 6 more wins in our record realistically. We'd be near the top of the West.

Are they trying to prove a point or maybe catch teams off guard? Or is it all some big hilarious joke that I just don't get?

    F---ing ridiculous.

Where's Christian Bale when you need him?

    End rant.

I guess on the bright side, at least we won't play any of those teams in the playoffs.

If Tmac and Rafer were here I would agree somewhat with you, but this is a new team, a new hierarchy on the court, and they need to learn from things like this.

Ron was crazy last night trying to do too much....he will learn and AB has to take the ball out of his hands....

This team, unlike the one earlier this year, has a chance to grow from it's mistakes.

It's hard to watch when Rockets face same problem over and over... Whenever Yao is fronted 4th qt. the team's offense comes to halt.
    .
We had this problem at least in 5 losses this season.

They have an answer for it, but they have new players on the court that need to learn how to beat it as a unit.

40% turnover in your finishers is a big deal.

    They will get it.

    Patience.

There's some truth to that, but Yao and Ron have been a part of the collapses too. They're usually the ones saying its a turning point.

I hope you're right and they can learn from this at some point. I just feel like no matter what there's no real excuse for blowing a fifteen point lead to a scrub team in five minutes. There's a reason it doesn't happen often for most teams.

So far though, they haven't collapsed versus good teams and that is encouraging. If anything they've come back on a couple including the game we should've won in Portland. Thats another debate though.

    My patience is wearing thin...
Especially since we are not learning from our past mistakes

Yup it's just one game. But we've had a lot of these this year. I thought I saw some pretty bad losses this season but last night's tops them, which is saying a lot.

Sorry to be negative, but I'm starting to lose faith. I thought with the personnel changes we made we may have escaped our old habits. But more and more i'm realizing this is just who we are. Unable to maintain focus to put away teams, unable to execute down the stretch, unable to find solutions to the fronting defense...and these problems are all magnified against teams WORSE than us (which blows my mind)

I just don't get it. The Cleveland win was one of the best wins of the season. And we follow it up with one of the worst losses of the season. It's just us I guess

One silver lining is if we make the playoffs we won't have to face the Bulls, Pacers, Wizards, Grizzlies, or Raptors

    Good post..i agree
We all get mad, but its just one game and they have a game tonight so lets win that one and be back on the positive side...

Losses like this are hard to take but it can happen...

Look at New Orleans against the bucks...they had a 17 point lead with 4 minutes left and almost lost if it wasn't for chandlers tip in..so it happens

    GO ROX!!!

How many losses do we need to learn from? Weren't we suppose to learn from all the 4th quarter collapses we already had?

Why does T-mac being in the house have ANY effect on how we lost last night?

Last time I checked people were b****ing about NOT turning up to games.

Haven't you learned? Its on him.

Mac could come back cheap when he's healthy (doubt he will) and finally win it all and people would still complain about him.

He could save kids from a burning building and posters would say the building only burned because he was in the neighborhood.

He could pull a Jack Bauer and save the city from a nuclear attack and they would say he's the reason the terrorist were let in.
