Don't trade Walt Williams

    If Walt provides "veteran leadership" then Matt Bullard does just as much, and as I have always stated does so for half the price.

    That ratio is changing too as Walt's contract continues to inflate before our eyes.

    Call everybody, let's have a Walt Williams firesale!

    I can live and love walt Williams as a Rocket, but I'd rather not. I don't think Walt gives us much at the three. I think we all know that to be true. We need someone who is a little more creative, a little more active, and who is a little hungrier on the court. The low point for me was when he gave the 'ol matadoor defense to Vince Carter with 1 second on the clock. That was just abismal. It was classic Walt Williams and I just don't think the Rockets can live with that kind of play. He is a good bench player, but nothing more at this point. I'd rather gamble with the cap room.
