Don't panic but it's all your fault the Rockets lost and Houston doesn't deserve a NBA team because I couldn't tell if the crowd was loud on my TV.

Can you overreact any more than that?

Hate to complain. But the Toyota Center crowd was soooo predictable! I can fall asleep listening to their cheers. They were loud alright, but you can put 10,000+ robots on the stand and achieve the same effect. Their vocabulary seems very limited and, no variation. Spectacular plays did not extract crazy cheers, they still cheer as if to be polite. A bull**** call would not bring a loud "booo" either, while the Mav's fans boo every call against them. Granted, it's hard to cheer when your team is loosing, but still, the crowd was so composed, so constant, so polite, it makes me wonder... Where is the pain? :( :(

I had a great time and I thought the crowd was great!

Lots of people were wearing old Rockets stuff, had their faces painted and signs were everywhere!

EVERYONE was there at the start of the game which is a feat in itself. As for after halftime though, it was rather empty and took some time for people to get back to their seats.

The noise was great esp after the 3 pointers by Barry, Sura, T-mac, Padgett and James. People did get up and scream!

I was disappointed in my section...I did what I could but I couldn't get them to stand when we were only down by 5 or so in the 4th.

My throat hurts this morning. :(

But I'll be at Game 4 to just to scream, jump, high 5 and cheer my Rockets on!!

I agree, I think we need clappers or something to help the people that don"t want to stand but can still make noise with them

It's not the crowd, luck, or the officials. Dallas was just better last night.

Not to worry. In a seven game series the better team wins- mano a mano.

Let's see if we are good enough to close the deal.

Man I don't know why everyone is dissing the crowd. I was at the game and it was loud, I thought last season was louder but it was still loud. My voice is scratchy right now. I was dissapointed with the lower bowl fans who were leaving with 3:55 left when the Rox went down by 8. What a bunch of LOSERS!!! That is when the team needs us most and you all leave. I guess the criticism of the "Suite" fans is true, they are bandwagon fans. The upper deck was loud the entire game with chants of "lets go rockets, lets go", "Defense", T-Mac at the free throw line "MVP!!!".

Noise was not a problem last night.

And noise didn't help the Mavs much in Dallas, did it?

The Mavs stepped up defensive intensity last night BIG TIME. That was the difference from games 1 & 2.

The fans don't suck. The Rockets policy on discouraging rowdy behavior does. The way security responds to people who are loud is terrible as well.

And yes, none of this affects the game outcome.

I never really thought for once that the Rockets were actually going to sweep the Mavs, we still aren't that good to be sweeping elite teams in the West. The Nugs even beat the Spurs at home.

I was actually pretty nervous about this game, I felt the Rockets were over confident w/ a 2-0 lead. I fully expect the Rockets to come out full force on Saturady, Yao and TMac didn't have their best games lastnight. Even though TMac got his numbers, he didn't seem like the same TMac we saw the 1st 2 games.

Like I said, I expect the Rockets to come out and stomp the Mavs on Saturday. I didn't see it as the Mavs winning the game, but more like the Rockets losing it. I expect JVG and crew to be fully focused and prepared.

We will win tomorrow. This wont happen again. The refs cant do that to us every game and Tmac and Yao wont play like that every game. We will win.

In reference to to your HHGTTG-esque title, how much is Tmac going to score in Game 4?

    The answer: 42.

There is a reason no one has mentioned here for this subject....

TC has acoustic matierial that prevents sound reverberation generated by the exposed metal on the roof. This makes the arena sound better for concerts......but it also dampens crowd noise. Portland (those white tiles) and Indiana (same as TC) have this as well.

AAC Does not have this....they have an exposed metal vaulted roof where crowd noise bounces all over the place, making the place seem louder then is usually is.

Think of this as like the Reliant effect that we've heard talked about. When the roof is closed, all that crowd noise bounces around off of all that metal, has no place to escape, thus the place becomes very loud.

ALSO, TC seats about 2000 less people then AAC....that might help with the Mavs fans sounding louder too....

If you want a loud arena....the only thing that has to go is the acoustic material, not the snobs.

BTW, I did like the Rockets crowd the other night. They sonuded very "New Yorker" with all the chants, "lets go Rockets...Dampier Sucks" etc... We need to hear more of that.

Actually I would like the Rockets to play worried that way they can't be overconfidant. Besides throughtout this season I've noticed that when we are in a hole we always get out of it, such as when we had lost 3 straight games and then won our last 7.
