did u even see reddick play last year??? he is coming into his own as a player .. certainly not a waste
The same rule applies to you... From watching a 4 min clip why do u think he is not a legitimate player???
Dude, he's not that good. He has one good game against a top 25 team and everyone rides his jock. Unbelievable. The dude played in the Ivy League. Not so intimidating...
Lin played for an Ivy league college team. That's not screaming NBA level competition to me. He was a star on a team full of people who are at school to learn about the world outside of the NBA. You are downright crazy to consider this idea of replacing the anchor of our bench and 2nd unit with an unproven Ivy league baller. I'd rather have Rubio from Spain and that's saying something because the Rubio love around here is ridiculous.
http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=182060&page=4 This thread has pretty good highlights of him in the NBA Summer League.
The interweb is your friend. Jeremy Lin is an American, born in California, with Taiwanese heritage. If you don't know the difference between Taiwan and China, again, the interweb is your friend. I rather doubt that anyone in China is ready to hand over millions to Les Alexander because of a Taiwanese-American.
From the little bit I've seen, he looks like a borderline NBA player. I wouldn't mind seeing him in Houston, if he was the 3rd string PG. But the primary back-up PG over Lowry, a PROVEN NBA caliber player, OP you must be sick. This isn't even about race.....I just don't think he's good enough at this point. He may get better in the future, but as of right now. DO. NOT. WANT. as a primary back-up. I don't give a damn where his ancestors are from....nobody cares....dude just isn't good enough at this point.
Have you ever heard of something called youtube? I think it's pretty safe to assert that if you had some grey matter between your ears, you would be able to find at least 40 minutes of his clips.
Completely agree. This has nothing to do with race. He's just not that good right now. He's smart and has a good work ethic though from what I've read and heard (I know someone who went to high school with him and has followed his career more or less), so he might still make it in the NBA as a backup, but right now, I'd only take him as a 3rd string for the Rockets. Maybe some desperate teams will pick him up as their primary backup, but the Rockets aren't desperate at any position IMO.
He's only #4 in top asian ballers in the country lol http://www.asianballers.net/id116.html Why don't we sign one of the guys ranked higher instead
