    I'm fine with her dabbling.

But up East they have a history of burning witches so it might be a problem there locally.

So O'Donnell was just playing a crazy person on TV? That makes me feel a lot better, I was kind of worried for a minute.

Are you really defending O'Donnell as a qualified, serious candidate?

You occasionally show more intelligence and self-awareness than this odd choice to defend.

Doesn't basso like Palin? To be fair, I think O'Donnell would make a better elected official than Palin. She has unorthodox (ok, often just flat out wierd) positions, but at least she can articulate them properly.

Smartest kid on the short bus?

They are both dumber than a box of rocks. The "Vote For Me I'm a Simple American" strategy could possibly get by in State election but actual governance is an arcane, cerebral exercise in Machiavellian multiple layer chess.

I doubt whether could even pass a test on Roberts Rules. (with cheat notes on their hands)

Yeah, I'd hate to have a (former) president who had done coke ....oh wait....And oh my goodness had the current president ever said he "dabbled" in witchcraft, went to a satanic alter with blood on it, you republicans would bust a nut.

It disturbs me, that people would really choose to put someone like Odonnell in office. The things she's saying you find rational and worthy of leadership??

    No, he doesn't

But she opposes Obama and that's good enough for the basso.

How about stupid people who get riled up about **** they see on CNN, MSNBC, Rachel Maddow about **** that couldn't possibly matter less?

As devil's advocate I'm going to ask what possible difference does it make what someone thinks about masterbation or witchcraft when it comes to public policy?

And why is it that people aligned against Tea Party agenda (for good and bad) would resort to leaking **** like this which won't impact governance but which will heavily influence the stupid voting public addicted to moralizing about media personalities? Is it because they don't want to discuss or give legitimacy to any of alternative views which might actually attract voters?

Religious asceticism is not a "loony" idea. Anyone thinking that is simply ignorant of the history of human philosophy and probably gets programmed about religion watching South Park. Self-restraint and discipline when it comes to sex is a cornerstone of every major religion... everything from Shinto to Judaism. You may not agree with it but thinking it's a fringe idea is just really depressing in terms of the overall diminishing intellectual capacity of our society.

And yes this chick is obviously a fame w**** who if she could have made it would have stayed in Hollywood like Bill Maher instead of running for office. But you can say that about Al Franken too although his role as a r****d in Trading Places 20 years ago was truly a masterpiece. What's it say when the Hollywood washouts are the ones who get to run our country?

And LOL at anyone who thinks Maher's Politically Incorrect wasn't coached and prompted like everything else on TV. Looks like her role was basically straight man like the blonde chick on The View. Say stupid **** to keep her job and get beat up on by the guests that the producers want to look good on the show.

You shouldn't talk about Reagan like that.

they put Robert Byrd, Ted Kennedy, Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Charlie Rangel, and Barack Obama in office.

i find it odd that democrats are now defending the politics of personal attacks. if these are the new standards, we just just preemptively disqualify from ever holding public office the entire facebook/myspace generation.

Objection! Evidence goes to the mental state of the defendant, it is pertinent and relevant.

I don't think anyone is maligning her with the information other than the fact that she is .. flighty, lacking any gravitas.

It's not like she said she was agnostic. That's a trunk slammer.

Barney Frank gets re-elected in spite of being gay because he is one of the best and brightest legislators in the country. And he doesn't have to use The Hammer.

This isn't defense of a strategy, this is quid pro quo. A year ago our president was a secret muslim fist-bumping terrorist because of a few pictures, but don't bring up videos of your candidates saying campaign hurting things right? Teenage pregnancy is wrong and it's the parents fault for not teaching/watching their kids...but don't talk about Sarah Palins unwed teenage daughter. Don't dish it if you can't take it.

You don't think that O'Donnell's stances on comprehensive sex education or AIDS research could potentially effect public policy if she is elected to the Senate?
