I agree that both had different goals...and this is a trade that can work out for both teams.

At the same time though, OKC is relying on uncertain and unknowns.

Lamb and the Draft pick. If both flop then it's going to be harder for them to contend.

But pretty much...the Thunder had more to lose and the Rockets...a franchise that seemed to be going nowhere with no one to build around...didn't have anything to lose.

I just feel that if you have a shot at a championship, eve if for one more year you go for it. You'll have years and years to rebuild or whatever after that...but building a team that can make the finals is difficult...takes a lot of luck too...

Lowry vs. Dragic going on right now. Dragic already blocked K-Low.

So what? Look at what they got and what they still can get with the toronto pick. The lakers in the 80s traded norm nixon for a draft pick after being in the finals. Rw and harden were redundant and rw is the better, more talented player. Mixed in all of this ,martin has played and filled in nicely. If they re-sign him for 8m or so and ibaka keeps improving, they will be in it for yrs to come. Their 2 best players are 25 and 24. If pj3 flashes better than jeff green, they will be in the finals every yr.
