Donte Greene was a beast tonight.

    35 minutes
    24 points
    9/13 FG
    6/7 from downtown
    4 boards
    5 assists
    6 blocks
    1 steal
    5 turnovers

    I know, I know...hindsight is 20/20.

    ;)

obviously at least one person does or it wouldn't be a thread

I agreed with the trade and you can't look back a year later.

    12/16 FG
    .750% FG
    2/3 3's

    Totally agree.

I just so happened to see his stat line tonight and was thoroughly surprised.

I wonder if he can keep it up if given consistent minutes.

Why isn't Adelman not giving Cook minutes? He's holding Cook back from his superstar potential!!!

he's actually playing really well of late - averaging 14 points per game on over 50% shooting.

    not back for b-day cake.

Failed attempt at a smart aleck comment.

He obviously showed at the end that it wasn't a "Omg I told ya'll the trade was stupid" type thread. He was just pointing it out.

I believe he was already 6"11 when the Rockets drafted him.

    Doesn't matter.

At the time teh trio of Tmac/Artest/Yao was a contending team. At the time Donte was just a rookie. At the time the Rox were thinking championship and had Tmac and Yao not went out...maybe they could have sniffed it...

If we get DeAndre Jordan rather than Joey Dorsey...
If we get Paul Millsap rather than Lior Eliyahu...
If we get Ramon Sessions rather than Brad Newley...
If we get David Lee rather than Luther Head...

This is strange. Here is the 2008 NBA draft guide from Chicago.

They show him under measurements at 6'8.25" without shoes and 6'9" with shoes. Outside of the measurements section, they say he is 6'11". I don't think he has grown taller at all. It seems to be height exaggeration from his rookie year.

Anthony Randolph has grown 2 inches since being drafted. Then again, he was only 18-19 when he was drafted.
