I think u misunderstood me here a little bit. I said he cant develop *dimension* and by dimensions, I dont mean assists, rebounds, TOs. nobody can develop "dimensions" in the NBA. you are either one dimensional or have more dimensions. Ray Allen, as great as he is, is one dimensional. I said Head cant be a "Tracy Mcgrady" or a "Kobe Bryant" one day. he will always be a 3 point shooter. he can work on certain *aspects* of his game, but he cant get new dimensions.

    sorry for the misconception.

Luther fits with the team's need for shooters pretty well. Now only if he can get some more veteran savvy as he gains experience, he'll be even better.

That doesn't mean you NEVER trade him, though... he good, that's why other people would want him and be willing to give back something valuable-- perhaps in an area of even greater need for the team.

Nobody is untouchable, under the right circumstances.

Yeah, I thought wnes was smokin' something. ;) Snyder can finish, and he sure can get to the basket. What a blow to lose him for several weeks, and how great it'll be when he gets back! Luther needs to improve in that area, and I think he will. He needs to work some more on his midrange game, and I think he will do that, too. The guy has stepped it up this season. I seriously thought he'd be moved over the summer, and I'm glad I was wrong. Head's biggest hole in his game is his defense, which is another area he can improve on, with experience. Luther can't do anything about his size, except make people forget about it.

A couple of comments on prior posts:

Head is NOT the same as Mike James. MJ can handle the ball very well and is a very good on-ball defender. Neither is true of Luther. He has a long way to go (not to say he can't get there).

Luther is not comparable to Steve Francis or Moochie Norris. For one, he is WAY more talented than Moochie. That comparison makes zero sense. Two, he doesn't hog and dominate the ball nearly as much as SF. Luther is more of a catch and shoot player. SF would constantly try to break players down off the dribble and use up half the shot clock doing so.

A few of you guys have high hopes for him. I don't, but he does bring some good ingredients to the table on offense.

It is just business. Nobody could sure about that, including T-Mac, Yao.

It's never impossible for a young player to develope some dimension. Look at Michael Reed. He came he the league as a second rounder because all the scouts said "he has no shooting talent whatsoever" Look at that guy now..

Agreed, he make some rookie like mistakes and turnovers, I am not a big fan of Bozo Wells, but he should have got more time at SG tonight. Just my 2 cents.

Re-watch the game when it airs tonight. I'm pretty sure it'll be your first time watching it because Bonzi, aside from some rebounding, was just as terrible turning the ball over as Luther was. And on defense? Did you NOT see Wells come tumbling down when he was guarding Walton?

I'll trade Luther for Iverson..... but seriously he's been impressive, getting very comfortable in the NBA. He should have a nice career playing with Yao and having those open shots, now if only he could play a little PG.
