Daryl, I understand. Your reputation is on the line. Your publicly stated belief that the team must do whatever it takes to put a star player on the roster. You have gone all in without any guarantee that the prize you seek is anything more then a Randy Johnson rent-a-player (and we all remember how well that has turned out for Astros). Now you watch the first game of Summer ball and you see Donuts, Chicken Man, Lamb, Jones, White and Morris all played reasonably well. You may well already have the building blocks on the roster to be competitive. You may. Its not too late to reverse course. Staying the course now is just as courageous as making a deal. Losing Scola hurts. Losing Dragic hurt. That said, you can fold the hand now. Let it play out. I think you did a helluva job with the last two drafts. Keep the boys together and lets see what they have got.
